Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

Golfer Reviews
Nice Course
A nice, fun course to play. Greens and fairways are quite good as of now. Many of the holes are fairly narrow & challenging - very easy to lose balls if you're not careful. Overall it's a nice place to play. My only gripe is this place could use some ball washers! Particularly in the wetter months where you end up with a lot of muddy & dirty balls, even if you keep them in play, it would be nice to be able to clean them now & then.
First Time Here
Played super early, wet conditions were a bit tough but nothing major, ended up playing through a 3some in front of us and we were off the course by 945.
Tough layout, not too many holes where you can just rip it off the tee box. Greens were in great shape, tons of water to deal with.
Greens are protected on most holes with water and bunkers, GIR is one of the things I found most difficult, but took advantage of the par 5s and 3s, the 4s are tough
stoney is doing great Mike is always there to greet you
stoney is doing great Mike is always there to greet you. Lower the price a bit and you will fill all the tee times for sure. Course is amazing big turn around except one hole par 3 # 7 needs work. Even deer come out to greet you
looking good
In very good shape right now, expanded pro shop...looks like things might be on the upswing here. Let's see if it stays that way!
Worth playing for sure!
Great course!
First time there and pleasantly surprised! It was confusing getting a cart and when to head out. Course was in great shape and really enjoyed our round.
Challenging but fun
Challenging course. Holes were spread out and some tees were a couple minutes drive from the previous hole. Water and woods on every hole. So as a player trying to break 100 I lost "a few" balls.
COURSE CONDITIONS: Tee boxes were fine. No problem finding a flat spot to tee off. Fairways were very good. Only one fairway that I can remember had a large dead/patchy spot but with a good drive you're clearing it anyway. A few fairways had low muddy spots but easy enough to avoid. The greens were great. Only a couple had some dead patches around the fringe.
BOTTOM LINE: Fun challenging course. Very good condition. Friendly staff. Very nice pro shop. The guy even remembered it was my birthday and checked in on me as he made a drive around the course. Would definitely play again. Sorry no images.
From bad to good to bad
Great layout but course conditions have deteriorated again
Great course. Been trying to play best ones around for $100
Well worth it. Great layout. Had to hit all the shots.
Not sure why there are any bad reviews
Not sure why there are any bad reviews. We had a great experience, right from the proshop check in to the restaurant/snack bar. All the staff were helpful and very nice.
The course was in amazing shape for April. Very little brown areas and some of the nicest tee boxes I have played in a while.
The course has its challenges, water everywhere but if you keep it straight your good. Tucked in the trees with lots of wildlife, it will make you want to return.
Good course, needs some treaking
This course has dramatically changed over he last 3 years. The fairways and greens are in great shape and the tee boxes are in very good shape as well. Where Stoneybrook needs some attention is the details. They need a "cart girl" or something for on course food and drink. Not even trash cans at the tee boxes. Also, they could use in cart GPS. Many other courses in the price range have those 2 little things that would make this course so much enjoyable to play.
now in my regular rotation of course
If you have not been to the course in sometime, forget what you remember as the conditions are excellent, greens and fairways are nearly perfect...conditions you would expect for $100 a round or more. This course winds through neighborhoods and almost every hole is different from the others. Some water to carry and doglegs to deal with but certainly worth the effort to get out there. I play twice a week and intended to this to be at least a once a month pleasure. One thing if you are big on walking...there are some 6 miles of cart paths so walking is not really an option
