Stoneybrook East Golf Course
About
Located in Central Florida, Stoneybrook East Golf Course is a championship course that has all the signatures of classic Florida golf courses. Although traditional in design there are some modern elements that lend to the overall challenge of the course. The large fairways are naturally tree-lined and the generous greens are multi-tiered and undulating. The green are also immaculately kept. Preserved wetlands and waterways create hazards that come into play on a few holes. There is also abundant wildlife on the course. Stoneybrook East Golf Course features three sets of tees.

now in my regular rotation of course
If you have not been to the course in sometime, forget what you remember as the conditions are excellent, greens and fairways are nearly perfect...conditions you would expect for $100 a round or more. This course winds through neighborhoods and almost every hole is different from the others. Some water to carry and doglegs to deal with but certainly worth the effort to get out there. I play twice a week and intended to this to be at least a once a month pleasure. One thing if you are big on walking...there are some 6 miles of cart paths so walking is not really an option
Fingers crossed
Reaaaallly hoping they can keep it up through the summer. It's in as good a shape as I can remember. 5/5.
Now just need to add a beverage cart :)
Nice course, no management!
Nobody keeping pace of play. 4 groups on every hole on the back nine, kill me!! Stay away, plenty of other courses in the area.
Reunion with a old friend
I used to play Stonebrook East occasionally some years back but the course lost the touch. Today´s managers and staff have really woken the course up again and I think it is one of the nicest in Orlando at this moment for a affordable price. I strongly recommend to play it.
Great value & conditions
4 hour round on a great course for the money. In great shape, considering the conditions of the other courses I played in florida on this trip.
Stoney
Great golf course I live in this area for long time and the maintenance has improved a lot thanks Ann keep up with the great work
ok ,wait for rye to die
It will be interesting to see what happens in the hot weather when the bermuda comes back
Stonybrook East Golf Course
Stonybrook East Golf Course is in great shape. I played it via Golfnow and got a great price. I recommend it to anyone looking for a couse in great shape.
SLOOOOW
Course has been renovated. No drinking water, wastebaskets , or ball cleaners at the T boxes. No cart girl. No Ranger. They seem to overbook. Slow long round.
Not Worth The Money
Stoneybrook East asking for $100 for a weekend round is borderline egregious.
There is no cart/beverage attendant roaming the course, there is no ranger driving the course keeping pace, there are no water stations or bathrooms on the course. At best it is a moderately kept lawn.
The bunkers are a mess and there are obvious irrigation issues. When it hasn’t trained in central Florida in a week and there are puddles in the bunkers, you might have drainage issues.
The driving range is littered with “regulars” that bring lawn chairs and sit and smoke cigars and the practice green does not remotely simulate the actual conditions.
There is a reason all the tee times are available folks, save your money and play Casselberry.
Nice course
Pace of place was great didn’t wait on group ahead of us at all. Course was very affordable and conditions were very good.
Recommended
I used to come to this course at least twice a month, until they raised prices significantly. I used to pay around 55 for a round, now it is 100 bucks. I don’t think the course is worth that money. Now I am only playing when there are hot deal available.
Bring a Range Finder
I read reviews of “plush” tee boxes and fairways. Must have not been the blue tee boxes. Now, I’ve seen MUCH worse but I wouldn’t say plus. Greens were shaggy but in good shape. Now the biggest complaint I have….flags! Do you not have a system? I’m from Michigan and forgot that my new range finder is chargeable. No big deal right? Well it is when you don’t have any rhyme or reason for a red and blue flag. The greens are hidden enough to no know if blue is front middle or back. Red, front middle or back. If they were all just the same color or different colors for 9’s, okay no biggie shoot for the middle unless you can tell. But seeing different flags and figuring out they don’t mean anything on a par 3 is a different animal.
Great place to play
Very good conditions and well maintained course. Highly recommend it! Very friendly staff, and accommodating.
Good value for the price
