Stoneybrook East Golf Course

The course is well maintained and quite lush for a Florida course. The greens are nice and roll well. The clubhouse has a nice pro shop and the attendant were Friendly.

I have played here a few times for around $30. It is a good value at that price. The course is just okay.

I have played this course for years and and about a year to two years ago it was in pretty rough shape. I must say, they have done a 360 on the greens and the fairways. The greens are nice and there is grass in the fairways. The bunkers are hit or miss, but not bad at all. All and all this course is in good shape and making a comeback. It was well worth $49.99. As long as the price point stays somewhat reasonable, we will be back.

This was a great course to play. In the past few years, it had gone down considerably. But today, I played again at a course that has truly come back. Friendly Staff, new carts, clean restrooms and more importantly, excellent tee boxes, fairways, and greens made the game just perfect. Especially greens are true to putt. No trick putts, no slow or fast ones. Just straight smooth running greens. It was not crowded so there were several twosomes and singles, all playing at a good pace. I was single and finished the game in 3 hours! I highly recommend the course to everyone.

I was very skeptical about playing this course due to mixed reviews I read. WOW am I glad I played this course. It was in great shape from tee to green. The greens rolled nicely and about a medium fast speed. Very challenging course with water on every hole. I would not hesitate to play this course. The price was great too for this level of course and its condition. Hats off to the staff keeping this course in great shape.

First time playing this course and reading past reviews was a little skeptical. Read recent reviews saying it was getting better so decided to check it out and glad I did. The course layout is awesome and definitely a little challenging. The greens are in pretty great shape. Overall great course for the price and will be coming back to play.

I havent played this course in years because of the condition it was in. After reading the recent reviews of how nice it has been lately I decided to book and play. It did not disappoint!!! The course is in AMAZING shape. From the check in the 19th hole everything was on point!!! I plan on making this my new home course! If you are on the fence about checking it out again go BOOK it!!!

They did overseed with winter grass and try to make the course more playable. Greens actually were pretty good but just some bad spots here or there. Fairway grass to weak to even hold your ball off the ground, bunkers are terrible. Tee boxes are rough. They’ve let the greens get smaller, but the fringe is probably the tallest grass on the course which is annoying when you’re 15 feet from the hole sitting in 2 inch high fringe grass. Worth $25 hot deal not worth full price. New carts are great but they moved the pro shop to the old dining room which is annoying. You have to drop your bag at the bag drop then hope nobody steals your stuff while you go check in, get a cart and then drive back to get you bag. Why not have carts near the bag drop?

You've got to play the course to believe it.. it is in first class shape.. the staff has done a wonderful job and are extremely welcoming.. do it!

If you are on the fence about playing Stoneybrook because of poor reviews in the past, don't hesitate! Course is in excellent condition, front to back. Greens roll just the right speed. Overseeded around the greens which makes it much easier to chip out of compared to most Orlando courses. Course has a great layout. Staff is friendly. Great deals in pro shop on Footjoy shoes. Will be adding it to the rotation of courses we play.

When I looked at the available tee times online, I couldn’t believe how many openings there were. I had to call the course to confirm that they were still open. The reviews are spot on - great value and excellent conditions. We checked in with Mike in the Pro Shop. He couldn’t have been more hospitable. He gave us a tour of the clubhouse and took us outside to show us exactly where we needed to go. The Pro Shop is also well stocked with reasonably priced equipment and apparel. If you want to play a 3 1/2 hour round for $45 on a nice course, then this is the place for you!

The course is in the best shape I have ever seen it and that includes all aspects... greens, fairways, tee boxes and sand traps!

Stoneybrook east is back to good shape like many years ago, very nice proshop, great bar, snacks available, good facilities, good fairways and greens. New staff is taking good care of it. Thanks Robbie for working so hard in NorthShore and Stoneybrook east so we can play in our neighborhood

After avoiding playing this course for many years and after reading a couple of reviews this morning, I booked my round today anyway, while being careful not to get my hopes up, as far as the course's conditions. From the staff at the pro shop and from tee to green, I could not have asked for a better reception and equally superb course conditions. The tee boxes were all in great shape, the fairways were well mowed and ready for play, and the greens rolled perfectly! If I really had to point at anything that could use some improvement, it would be the bunkers. The sand(?) was very compacted and could have used some raking to get them fluffy and more playable. That said, it rained quite a bit last night, which could likely account for the hard-pan bunkers. It was nice to see teams of grounds people hard at work to all over the entire course, working hard to make things even better. I'm sure that at this rate, the course will be in peak form in a few weeks. Most definitely worth the drive and the reasonable rates are hard to beat. Needless to say, I will now be a very frequent visitor to this course and would strongly encourage others to go try it for themselves.
