About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Golfer Reviews
A real gem!
I felt like I was playing in the country. The course was challenging but not overly challenging. The course was in great condition the only problem was the greens were being aerated so therefore not in great shape. We really enjoyed the elevations and overall layout.
Every person we came in contact with was friendly and helpful.
We will definitely be back!
Currently unplayable
In its current condition, course is not worth $25 even if the greens weren’t punched and flooded with sand. No signs or messages to be found before starting play.
Has potential
Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They are working hard to get the course in better shape, heat wave has made that harder. The layout is fun with some challenge, but not punishing. Given time this could be a local gem.
Great layout
First two fairways needs work as do most of the tee boxes. Most of the greens were in real good shape.
A course that has its challenges
I have played a couple dozen courses, both high end and not so great and this is probably one of the second most challenging besides Deer Island. I found Mission Inn, Rosen Shingle Creek, Disney Courses, and others easier just not in the type of condition as those. Good semi-links course to prep for overseas UK courses too. Worth playing despite the condition not as nice as other places.
Sloooooow greens
Course was fine. Not very crowded. Played in three hours. Enjoyed our round. Greens were hard to put on. Very slow
Course is drying up fast, due to a broken pump. Greens are still good, but tee boxes and fairways will be barren in just a few days. Hope they get that pump fixed soon!
Unable to play
My son and I had purchased 18 each with a cart and when we got there at 10am EST, we were told we couldn't golf, without an explanation.
I want my money back
Excellent staff!
We love the staff! Best at any course we go to. Love the restaurant too.
Course getting better
Play this course pretty often and i can say it's getting a little better each time pretty fun layout with some challenging holes . Greens are definitely improving but tee boxes and fairways can improve
So fun
This course is so fun, and pace of play is great, now my foursome took some time, but when we had someone come behind us we just let them play through, and the staff are just the best.
Green Valley Golf
Lots of spots in the fairways with no grass. Lots of tees that needed some TLC. Greens had been punched so it was near impossible to make a putt. Plus our 8:20 tee time from GolfNow somehow became 8:30am, on top of that a shotgun for league play pushed our tee time back another 20 minutes. Aside from that it was a good day??
Fun time, just paid too much.
Got the first tee time 7am. Pace of play I can’t speak to since I we flew through with no one in front. But the greens were tough. Would have given an amazing review if I didn’t pay $56 for jumpy greens. I called ahead and they said it wasn’t too bad since being punched but those greens definitely warranted a cheaper fee. Punch marks were still there and it affected the rolls on a lot of putts.
