About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Hardly any fairway grass on the first three holes. Most of course looked dry and unwatered.
a dissapointing round of golf
A course that has gone from my favorite to not so good, pace of play terrible.Hopefully just an off day because I will ceryainly be back to give it another chance
Water is trouble.
For the money this is a good course. Staff was friendly. Water is lurking on numerous holes. Fairways and tees are basically dirt with a little or no grass. Greens were good. We would play again.
Fun and challenging
Great layout. Played the blue tees .Really fun course. I will definitely play it again.
Fun course!
Fun course with interesting play, and some challenging holes. Great food at the grill, with reasonable prices! Everyone is very pleasant. ☀️
Disappointed
We booked for 18 holes didn’t know it was only 9 holes now. Playing the 2nd 9 was so slow - they put many players out not allowing for us to play our 2nd 9. We did not play the last 2 holes got so tired of waiting. Would not go back or recommend this course.
Nice course
As an advanced beginner I found he course just challenging enough to have fun without getting too frustrated.
I recommend playing here This course is a diamond in the rough. The layout is very challenging with fast greens. I’ve played this course 4 times now. And each time it’s great. If they can increase their maintenance, take care of the tee boxes this place would be. One of the best around. Presently it is well worth the price. I’ll be back.
Course could be so nice if they put some care into it. It’s probably the worse condition of any course I’ve ever played. It’s been really neglected. It’s a shame, the bathrooms were so dirty and haven’t been cleaned in ages.
friendly course in the hills
Rather simple but nice course to play. A bit hilly, which is nice in Florida. Course overall in good condition. Greens a bot spotty, but fair.
Would certainly go back to play.

This course is in poor condition and not worth the money
First timer
The starter was fantastic! He took the time to chat with us and tell us about the course. Unfortunately, there was a tournament we ended up right behind and were extremely slow. Wondering if a ranger would’ve helped…. Course is a nice layout, but grass was sparse on tee boxes and fairways. Greens were good, but not great. Refreshment cart person was very nice and we saw her once per side, so that was sufficient.
Good value
The course has a good layout and the greens were quick. Sand traps raked but fairways are sketchy.
However for the price it is golf and fulfils my needs.
