About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Nice greens
Although the tee boxes and fairways could use some work, we found the greens in great shape!

Overall nice course
Fairways and tee boxes need some work. Greens are decent. Friendly staff.
Not the greatest
Was a little disappointed with this golf course. I guess when the pace is so slow doesn't help matters. Again my amazement with the ball marks on the greens is mind boggling to me. The greens were really fast. I guess the layout and pace of play just turned me off. Sorry . However on a positive side 6 beers for 20$: in a bucket full of ice was nice.
booking tee times
Looking at Green Valley on line to book a tee time... I can't find a way to book other than "Golf now" ?? Why don't they list tee times like all the other courses??? I am NOT going to use Golf Now. Guess I will not play there any more... use to go play all the time over the years but, no more.
Great time
Great time with my ten year old son. We played with two other guys who really were patient with my little guy. Staff was awesome. Cart woman was gorgeous

Hope to play a couple more rounds here before leaving the area to go back to Wisconsin!⛄️

Your getting a nice course at a great price. Greens are looking great, better than they ever have before.

Golf Now hot deal.. !!
my first time playing this course. The course was in good shape overall. Greens fast and somewhat hard but needed to be rolled but it had been raining earlier in the week and cooler temps for the florida area did not help.
the biggest issue to me was lack of yardage markers on the course. There were some bricks in the fairway but hard to tell if white or concrete color.
Repaint them to proper color.. also some sprinkler head had markers many did not.. that would help as well..
Hotdogs in club house EXCELLENT.
The carts were newer gas model that were fast and quiet.
Some of the tee boxes were grassless and rough.. but not all were bad.. Course layout is fun and believe it or not HILLS..
Fun and good value that need some TLC.
They say come & play 18 holes, but you can only play front 9 2 times, closed down 2nd 9 holes.
Disappointment only able to play the front nine two times for your 18 holes back nine close down for season it seems to be a rip off to tell you 18 holes but only playing nine front nine two times waste of time and money
Significant improvements seen over the past year. As others have said, tee boxes need a lot of work, but the course overall is well worth the price.
