Green Valley Country Club
About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Improvement
I have not played this course in years, course is in pretty good shape for this time of the year just need some little attention to the tee boxes and greens, As seen over the last several months golfers not repairing their ball marks has become an issue on all golf courses
If i had to complain about one thing was having to let to many groups of 2 play through (I had a 4 ball) which extended our play to over 4 and half hours
NICE WEATHER CLERMONT
COURSE COMING AROUND LOT OF HARD WORK BEING DONE FEW TEE BOXES DIRT LITTLE GRASS OVERALL LOOKING MUCH BETTER GREENS RUNNING PRETTY QUICK. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
Great value - great views
Course layout makes use of many many hills around Clermont. Greens were in great shape, really nice! Fairways were good, some water holes and 90 degree doglegs. Very nice staff. Grill/bar at the turn -toasts the inside of the hotdog buns. I will definitely be back.
Pa e of play was excellent. The fairways were OK but not lush.
The greens were in pretty good condition.
The staff was very friendly.
Great Course for the Money! We
I play this course regularly because it is affordable , in great shape and challenging enough for me.
Green Valley golf course
First time playing this course, really enjoyed the layout and the beauty of the course. Appreciated having a friendly starting captain send us on our way to play earlier than our tee time. Stopped in the Grill after our game and enjoyed lunch with a view of the lake and a super friendly staff .
It’s all the Way Back!
Green Valley has made its way back to being a dependable low budget course! Earlier this year the course was in really bad shape but they’ve made significant improvements to where it’s playable again. Most greens were in good shape. There were only like two greens that needed some TLC but it’s the same greens that needed TLC even in its prime with hole 9 being one of them. The fairways were in good shape as well. I’d definitely recommend playing there, especially for the low rate. The only bad thing I can say about this course is the restrooms. The restrooms are and always have been disgusting with dirt caked up on the toilets and sinks as if they’ve NEVER been cleaned. I’m actually afraid to touch stuff in there but after all the times I’ve played this course I felt the need to finally say something about it.
Been a while
Was pleasantly surprised. been over a decade since we been here. Some minor blemishes on the greens. A handful of fairways a little rough. Overall in decent condition with a beautiful layout. Lot of fun. Very much worth the drive and the cost. Can’t wait to play again
Diamond in the rough
Course was in excellent shape and the layout is great. Challenging but fair. Going back to play again today. Played many in the area and haven’t found one for the price that compares.
Great value
Played 18 as a twosome in a little over three hours. Course was almost empty in the afternoon. Surprisingly hilly for Florida. We both enjoyed the course layout. Some tee boxes had very little grass, but others were fine. Greens were a bit furry but smooth. Would play again.
I agree with you about the not fixing ball marks on the greens.. also seems like no one wants to fill their divots !!! What is wrong with golfers today? I carry extra sand to try and help keep the course nice... PLEASE guys, divots and greens.
