About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

GOLF ON A FAIR GOLF COURSE
ZI HAVE PLAYING THIS COURSE FOR 21 YRS SINCE I MOVED CLOSE BY. COURSE NOT BAD NOT GREAT HOWEVER THEY ARE WORKING TO BRING IT BACK TO HOW IT LOOKED 2012 IT TAKES TIME AND MONEY AND MEMBERSHIP FRONT SIDE LITTLE RUGIT GREENS NOT BAD FEW HAVE SOME FUNGUS SPOTS STILL PUTT PRETTY GOOD. YOU CAN SEE THEY ARE WORKING TO BRING IT BACK UP TO PRE STANDARDS CONDITIONS IT TAKES TIME AND DENERO OR IN GROVELAND MONEY I WORKED SEVERAL COURSES LAKE COUNTY IN MY TIME IF U PLAY A RESORT LIKE MISSION INN TOP SHELVE HOWEVER THEY HAVE DEEP POCKETS KINGS RIDGE NOT BAD LEGENDS NICE I USE TO SIGN WHEN TRUCKS WOULD DROP CHEMICALS FOR COURSE JUST FOR GREENS 1 GALLON CHEMICALS TO SPRAY $1000. SO MORAL OF THE STORY BE PATIENT THINGS TAKE TIME FOR $30 GREEN FEE NOT BAD U WANT BETTER MISSION INN $100 OR DISNEY $100 OR RITZ $275 U PLAY RITZ ONE TIME U CAN PLAY GREEN VALLEY 10 TIMES
Brutal
This is a $20 round at best. Almost no grass on this track at all. Greens are surprisingly well kept but otherwise feels like you’re hitting off pavement. Do not recommend.
Strong Value
Good crew and friendly. Greens are much improved and fairways also getting better.
No grass.
They need to get grass on their tee boxes. Layout is good. Staff was great. They need to invest in a few more rakes. Lots of water on this course.
Needs some TLC
The staff was very friendly, newer carts and decent practice areas.
The tee boxes are in rough shape as are many of the fairways. Conditions improved as we got the back 9, and it is clear they are working to improve, but work still needs to be done. Greens were generally in good condition with a few areas that needed repair. Bunkers were raked and in good conditions.
I liked the layout and will return. Hoping the continue to improve the fairways and tee boxes
Great Layout - needs attention
Great layout but conditions are not the best. Very dry, as are most courses this time of year, but the rainy season will help the course green up but the areas around the green will still be difficult with weeds. Areas washed out to dirt need maintenance. I hope it gets back to better conditions again.
I have played here many times and I will say the course conditions are improving. Good staff and fun track for the money.
