About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Great course
Really great course, six or seven of the holes are very beautiful. The greens were OK but still rolling great. Will definitely be back!
Average at best
Very dry, needs watering. The winter rates at a lot of courses are way over priced, for the conditions
Fun course to play.
Needs more maintenance. No grass on some tee boxes
Greens are improving.
Greens are fast but still bumpy. Played better than a few days earlier. Should be real nice in 3 weeks.
For the price, not bad
Played here many times before and the course has been in better shape back then as opposed to now. The course needs TLC from tee to greens. The first four holes are quite in need of help but the course does get better after that, but only marginally. There are weeds on the green surfaces that affect putting. This course has a real nice layout and the staff are quite friendly.
Work in progress
The course has a great layout but, it does need some TLC. They know this and are working on it.
Invasive grasses meant they could not overseed and with several irrigation failures, some areas are a bit scabby.
Still enjoyed it, and will certainly be back.
Nice course. Experienced starter. Excellent time playing golf.
Needs attention!
I have played Green Valley over several years. It started when Golf Visions took over and had a players pass book for the course and other courses in FL. Then COVID happened and two years later I came back. The condition of the course had deteriorated. Weather could be part of the problem but other courses are in better condition. Until the course changes, I will not be back.
