About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Would Not Play Again
Overall the course has a lot of potential. Nice layout, but some money needs to be invested in it. Some really nice homes backing onto the course, they have to be disappointed in the shape of the course. Most tee boxes were not level and found it hard to find a spot to comfortably tee up. (White Tees), the fairways on the front were very thin, little grass, back 9 were better. Greens ran fast, however, a lot of poa and weeds creeping into them. Front office staff and starter were friendly and accommodated.

Just wondering how two people can review the course as good and three days before, two people rate the course as POOR???? I hate it when people do this.... SOMEONE has to be telling a lie !!!
Needs some love but still enjoy it
It’s the first time this year we have played here and the course is in need of some love but I have always loved the course layout and uniqueness of this course. Will go back but wish they could help it along

This golf course should close until they restore everything !!!
There no grass anywhere, teeoffs are only dirt and sand, fairways no grass and hard as rock, looks like there’s no money invest in the course. I can’t not understand some of the 4 and 5 stars reviews for this course, sorry but this is not a golf course, stay away until they do something about the conditions.
Not again
Fairways covered in dead grass and bare spots. Greens have no grass, weeds, or plain sand. Putts don’t play true because the ball hits weeds and bounces around. Can’t find grass on the fairways to place your ball on. Tees uneven and devoid off grass. How can they charge similar amounts to good courses and get away with it? Possibly because people in neighborhood use the course but why they do is beyond us. This course should be closed until it is renovated and cared for or the cost should be 1/4 of what they charge. Better to spend your time at a driving range with mats; at least you would have something to hit your ball off of.
Great course very challenging
Beautiful layout with some tough par 5s right at the start. The fairways were a little dry in some areas but I think it might have been weather related, other than that very well maintained. It was just a random trip to try out a new course because I live in Tampa but I would love to come back and I plan on it. Very good challenge for even an advanced golfer, can’t wait to golf here again.

Nicest thing I can say is never again. Over crowded, no ranger to move slow play, starter did not pair up 2somed, course in terrible shape.

The greenskeeper has an easy job since he gets paid and doesn’t show up
layout has potential but…
This track needs a renovation on every level in every area and until then, GV should closedown and take a page out Legends Clermont MGMT playbook down the street. The only positive thing about GV is it’s overall layout. Everything else needs a facelift.
