About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Should be called Brown Valley CC
This may be the worst course or should I say cow pasture I ever experienced. Normally if a course is bad I just don't say anything but I have to warn other golfers. I don't think there was a blade of grass on any tee box and fairways are nor much better.
And the layout you must bring a hard hat. You have people playing hole #1 via the 18th fairway to cut the corner then watch out for balls coming from another hole. It reminded me of a badly designed highway intersection.
Nice layout
Nice hills and valley type course, rare in Florida. Greens are in decent shape. A little thin on the fairway grass, but for $30.00 or so, I will play it again.

Same old thing
I played this course over a month and half ago and the conditions are still the same. Poor fairways with lots of dirt patches. Makes it difficult to hit a clean shot of that garbage. If they woukd only out a little more care into it this course would be really nice.
Headed in the right direction
With the harsh frost in Florida the year it took a toll on this area, and this course was not spared! The crew have worked hard to bring back the Greens which are rolling real nice, Fairways are decent, The Tee boxes really need work! Pace of play was outstanding probably due too the Heat! I will continue to play here as it’s very close to home, it is challenging and keeps you on your toes

Fair at Best
Just not in great shape. Fairways are thin and the greens are still bumpy. For the money, I think there are better choices.
Not Quite Ready
Greens are bumpy. Lots of sand. Many fairways are thin. Not much grass. Okay for the money.
Great time at Green Valley GC
We had a wonderful time. The value was good and the course was in pretty good shape. The bar staff was extremely friendly as was the pro shop staff. This course is a really good value.
Return to Green Valley
Enjoy going to Green Valley when in the US on vacation as parts of it resemble a typical UK parklands course. Greens in reasonable condition today and fairways very dry and patchy in places. A good challenge for the average golfer all the same.
Needs work
So much work to still be done. Fairways thin. Tee box bare and uneven. Greens are bumpy. Could not get a true roll on putts.

A good course with challenge and some holes with easy play. A good design mix.
Nice Course For The Money
Great course for your money, but would be better if the course was in even better shape
Greens not too bad. fairways are rough & have many bald spots devoid of reasonable grass & the ground is hard pan. Also, it’s extremely difficult to spot your ball location because of the excessive amount of oak leaves littering the course.
The course has an interesting layout & Offers up a challenge.for the golfer.
RECOMMENDATION: meh
What happened?
I will start off with the good, the greens were in good shape. For the rest of the course, what happened? More weeds in the fairways than grass and the tee boxes were all chewed up and dirt. I will never play this course again. I paid for 18 but left after 9 due to course conditions.
