Green Valley Country Club

I had some initial concerns with the pro shop not being masked up, you start wondering if the remainder of the staff disinfects the carts, optics and such. The starter was masked up and she was so very nice at greeting us and giving us the lay of the land.

The course was refreshingly non-Floridian. Lots and lots of undulations and elevation changes. You had to get creative with topography, wind direction and hazard locations. Maybe the only real frustration was the Velcro like greens. Coming around to the idea of whacking the ball across the greens far more than you’re use to took awhile to settle in to your thinking. The fairways on the front 9 are more narrow than the back 9. Trees lining the front 9 will be your greatest obstacle.

All in all it was a fun round of golf and good value for the money.

Nice course and well maintained. For the price but honestly in general. Carts were extremely clean and worked very well without any issues. The course is a little chopped up at times between the neighborhood but not a bad thing. Really enjoyed playing this course.

The lady working the register in the clubhouse was super friendly. She provided me the online coupon rate but I was not even aware of. The pace of play for the first six holes was not very good, thanks to a twosome in front of us it took forever. There was no course ranger. We had to jump past them and skip a hole. Good thing we did, or we would’ve been there for a very long time. Overall, the course conditions are much better than I what I remember years ago. The greens were in excellent shape. Tee boxes were a little sparse, but for the price, it was well worth it. I will definitely be back.

Course overall in good shape & greens rolled very true. Would definitely play this course again.

Love this course. Overseeded with rye this year. Not quite as good shape as last winter - but more than acceptable.

This review is only meant to warn future group golfer voucher users that intend to play at Green Valley country club. I purchased two vouchers for Green Valley a couple of months ago. My first time playing this course was December 22. I played there and had a good time even though the course does not the good conditions but I did not expect much in that regard so it was fine. The problem lies with the pro shop personnel that redeemed both of my vouchers on December 22 and I played as a single player so they basically stole $30 from me. I was not told that they did this. I went back to play today 1/8/21, only to find out at that the pro shop clerk had redeemed both of my vouchers on 12/22 and there was nothing that they could do about it. I gave them the opportunity several times to try and correct their mistake and they did not take the opportunity. I will never play this course again simply because they did not do the right thing. Also beware this course has very slow pace of play from what I saw and was told from several regulars. Spend your time and money somewhere else.

After having the worse experience at Swiss Fairways about 30 minutes earlier it could not have made me happier then to deal with the friendly staff and great course. This was my first time playing her and it was definitely a challenging course. I can’t wait to go back for another round.

The golf course is challenging and fun. Greens are undulating and were fast. Tee boxes were fine. Fairways and rough were okay. Pace of play was slow.
