About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

the course
the course was in the best shape in many years. the way they cleaned the ponds is amazing. The trimming of thees lining 15, 16 and 17 looks great. A job well done.
Well laid out
The course was beautiful when I played, greens were slow but true. Not unfairly challenging, but not super easy either.

Friendly folks & challenging course
Plenty of bunkers & water obstacles to keep you on your toes. The course is well maintained but the tee boxes could be a little more level. Overall friendly staff, relaxing atmosphere and nice course. Well worth the money.
Not a fan
Lots of blind teeshots . Patchy rough. Fairways and greens are decent. Watch out for houses and out of bounds. Facilities are okay.
Better than I was expecting
For less than $40 in the morning tee times, I was not expecting these nice conditions, Fairways, bunkers and greens are in great condition, greens were in the slow side but in great condition. Even the rough was in decent shape.
