About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Fun layout
This is such a fun track to play. There are plenty of challenging holes, and some easier ones to think about. Bring your group out for a fun time.
Golfing on Thanksgiving
on a beautiful Thanksgiving day decided to play a round of golf with a buddy, we have not played a round in 4yrs. So it was nice to just catch up.The positives the greens rolled well, and there was hardly anybody there so pace of play was excellent. the negatives dirt patchs that I kept landing my ball on in the fairways and that I was charged a fee to have my own cart. I would understand if the place was packed and there was not enough cart to give out, but there whole fleet was right there and they are just taking the opportunity to make more money during a pandemic!! That I felt was unfortunate.
Course is getting better.
Over seeding has help course to be more playable and enjoyable. Expect conditions to improve more over the next few weeks as the new grass takes root.
Better than expected
After reading the most current reviews I was somewhat reluctant to play here but I’m glad we did. The course is recovering from a major over seeding and the results are obvious. New grass is evident all over the course and growing in nicely. Yes, there are still some rough spots but nothing you can’t maneuver around. After another cut or two this course will be in very good condition. The layout is challenging and interesting with many risk/reward holes. It’s good to see the major improvements going on and I choose to appreciate that effort rather than complain about a few bad lies or the speed of the greens. Definitely a good choice!
Great course layout
I loved the layout but this course need some serious help in weed control and general turf management.
The tee boxes were rough and you had to search for some even grass.
Many fairways were under repair and those that were not needed a lot of weed control. Very little of actual grass to play from. The greens were over seeded and not mowed yet so putting was extremely slow. Hopefully they will look better in another week after mowing.
Course conditions fair due to overseeing. Should be a nice track in a week or so.
Over seeded 10 days ago, so fairways and greens had not been mowed since then. Course played slow.
Ruined our golfing day
They over-seeded the entire course. We were not informed until we arrived at the course (Booked through golf now). They did offer us a discount. Our price went from $30 to $29. This was a smack in the face. Didn’t even bother to putt because the green were like grandmas shagged carpets. We drove an hour for this course and very upset.
Needs lots of work
We have played this course in the past but today the course was in such poor shape that we will not likely be back. The fairways are full of crabgrass, the bunkers are a mess and the greens have lots of bald patches. The power carts have rips and tears in the seats and are not clean.
The only staff we saw was at check in and she was friendly.
The layout is decent and if it had lots of maintenance it would be on our list to play again.But I mean lots of maintenance. Right now it is not worth it even for a very cheap price.
Green Valley
Course was in tough shape. Fairways were supposed be over seeded, but all we saw was crab grass and weeds. Greens were inconsistent and holes were not tamped down. Price was right for the course in its current shape. I enjoy the layout and have seen it in better condition. All said and done, I still would play the course.

Good Course
Good Course with lots of challenges. In a nice friendly location.
Nice course and good value
Enjoyed the layout of the course. A wide variety of holes made for a great round. First couple of holes were a little rough condition wise but after that things greatly improved. Greens were in good shape. Staff is extremely friendly. Even though it’s 20+ miles from home we will be returning soon.
Great layout and challenge
Played from blue tees which per card is 6,600 yards long. Several 400 plus par 4’s which play every bit of it. The greens are very tough with good speed and much slope to them. The course is in pretty good shape with crab grass present throughout but not too bad. I believe it is worthy of play and the cost is very much affordable.
