About
Green Valley Country Club in Clermont sprawls across rolling hills that were once used for citrus farming. The unusually undulating terrain allows for scenic vistas all around, including a panoramic view of Lake Minneola from the sixth fairway. The golf course boasts some of the highest elevations in Lake County and the routing of the layout does much to take advantage of the sloping terrain. Throughout the golf course you'll find linear fairways and large rolling greens that call for heroic carries. Water hazards come into play on a few holes but in order to let the natural contours shine, bunkering was kept to a minimum. You'll only find it along the front and sides of the greens. Green Valley Country Club's seventh is one of the toughest holes, with an intimidating peninsula green that requires an epic drive in order to reach it in regulation.

Nice track for the price $$
Green Valley is a fun test of golf from tee to green with some tight fairways to start and then it opens up a bit. Tee boxes were a little rough, fairways and rough were very playable and greens held good iron shots. The greens were a little rough and slow to putt on. Overall, the course is fun, interesting holes and the conditions for $20 can’t be beat. Pace of play was excellent and the locals are friendly.
Humid Day at The Track
Overall Good Shape for time of year. Some tee box’s chewed up some fairways also. I have been playing this track 20 Years since I moved to Groveland Back in the day four to five stars almost every day I played. Although Not Top Shelve STILL NOT BAD PLACE TO PLAY 18 IN LESS THEN 3 HRS. COULD USE SOME WORK. BUT YOU NEED THE BUDGET AND MEMBERS $$$$ MONEY IS SHORT IN GOLF COURSE COMMUNITY
Okay but needs more maintenance
Would be a great value for $22. It’s okay for $35. Lots of weeds in the fairways. Needs more TLC. If the weeds got under control, it would be great. Greens rolled fast and true. Lots of the signage and ornaments needed work. There is a bell on one hole that is a blind shot, and was wondering why no one would ring it to signal that the fairway was clear. Got there and realized it was broken and would not ring. Sums up the course. Almost but not quite. There are other courses around that are much better for same price.
Fun Course, Great Staff
Played this course on a Friday morning. The club had a shotgun start tournament ahead of us, which delayed our start. The staff was friendly and thoughtful in welcoming us and asking us to wait a little bit.
The course is different and fun. Some of the holes have elevation, some of hills, and some are well-designed bends. Some water, but mostly to the side. Beautiful, tasteful hones pepper the sides. Greasy, beautiful course.
A few of the fairways had run of weeds. But, for the most part, the fairways were good. Tee boxes were good. Greens were in good shape.
No complaints. Will definitely play here again.

One of My Favorites in CFL
Central Florida (CFL) has plethora of options when it comes to golf courses and GV is one of my favorites. Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, and a course that provides a fun challenge for all skill levels. You won't regret this one at all.
Terrible condition
I play at Green Valley all the time with friends and we love the price for a great track. We played great golf today but the condition of the course, specifically the greens, was so poor that we scored terribly. With NO warning we paid full price $$ and then realized the greens were pushed for aeration, COVERED in sand and weeds. Honestly so terrible the course should have been closed for the time being. Barely playable. Considering how much money I’ve given them over the summer playing there several times a month, I am just disappointed.
Challenging Course & Hidden Gem
This course has some of the most interesting holes of any Central Florida course. The greens are in excellent shape. You need to think your way around this course.
Very poor condition, very few players
Very poor course condition. Weeds from tee box, fairway to green. Greens were very slow. The only good thing was we finished a round within 3 hours because there were very few players on the course.
