Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

204 yard (blue tee) Par three third hole Photo submitted by Edpro on 07/08/2013
Only 9 holes
Everything one gets backed up because if you play 18 you pick different tees to play from. Naturally the holes get over used so the course is in bad shape
Good little Gem
Great Course for the money. In good shape and plenty of bunkers
Sad
We have enjoyed this course time and time again in the past few years. Disappointing to see it lose it's back nine. It is now a 9 hole course to be played twice on different tees to make it 18 holes.
Sad because we also loved the back nine.
On a bright note, they still have those foot long hot dogs. Yum
Good layout
Hole two is amazing. Kathy the worker inside is even better, will be back soon!
course condition was great.
Better condition today, they working hard to improved, tee box and green was great, fairway was ok. with this price and condition of golf course I was no complains.
keep it up a good work.
Course in the good condition
The course is in the good condition, they are better from tee to green.
Still worth playing if the price is right
Was originally only 9 holes. Played it then, played it a lot when it was 18 holes and still will play it as long as I am able now that it is only 9 holes again.
Not what I expected
We had played Swiss Fairways 2 years ago and enjoyed the layout, even though the conditioning was poor. We’re surprised to find out today that the back nine has been closed since July. It is now a 9 hole track, and, yes conditioning is still poor
Hidden Jem
If playing the same 9 twice is a problem ; don't go; it just leaves more room for us. Playing same 18 two days in a row is not a problem but playing the same 9 twice is ; does not compute! The course is in more than decent shape and is a true bargain.
surprised
because I have played here many times I didn't read the notice that it is now only 9 holes. Would not have gone had I realized that. Entirely my fault. But the owner was less thaan pleasant ; he tried to convince us that there were 18 different tee boxes to play from . NOT it was merely go off the white one time and the blues the next. All in all we still had a good time as the fairways and greens were ok --- for $18 it was a good deal Although I wouldn't reccommend this course to a friend ; I also would not tell them not to go. It must be very difficult to run a golf course these days but if you are going to man the counter - you should make people feel welcomed
They working on it
Course has been improved, they working on it, green better than last time, love the layout, needs back 9 back.
Fun Course
Course was in process of being over seeded, but was still in nice shape. Fairways & Rough were trimmed nicely. And greens were in good shape.
