Swiss Fairways Golf Course
About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

204 yard (blue tee) Par three third hole Photo submitted by Edpro on 07/08/2013
Unknown change
Even though the course still is listed on Golfnow as 18 holes with >6700 yards, it is now only a 9 hole course! We had no idea. We were delayed by 40 minutes because they allowed people who initially payed to play 9 holes to play another 9, pushing everyone else's tee times out. Inexcusable. As a result, it receives a very poor review.
Starter/scheduler confusion
We had 12:14 tee time and got there 45 minutes early to get setup and a little loosing up , they wouldn’t let us check in until 10 minutes before our start time. What? Got to the starter and had to wait for everyone else to play thru because of only having 9 holes to play. It’s a fun place but not now or until they t the scheduling straightened out.
Surprise surprise
This is now a 9 hole course which you play twice if you paid for 18 holes. Our t time was 11:58 and we went off at 12:50. We had to weave in with people coming off their first 9. It was the craziest thing we’ve ever experienced on a golf course EVER. Play here if you don’t mind waiting around and hope you get in 18.
Terrible office.
We booked a tee time for 9:30. When we arrived to the course. They were closed. When calling the pro shop they said they’d be closed for the day. We never received a phone call, email, or text to say our tee time was canceled and had to drive 45 minutes just to find out we couldn’t play.
Nine hole course
So sad to see they closed the back nine. On their website you can still see some of those holes in the video.
The course also had some very muddy areas, which should have been roped off, to avoid damage from the carts.
Swiss Changed
No longer 18 holes, play the same front nine twice.
Miss the back nine.
No signs telling you the back nine is closed, or told on website.
Front nine was okay, wet from over watering, green very good.

Nine hole course--NOT eighteen!
Was disappointed to find out that the back nine was closed--seemingly forever, Had to play the front nine twice.
Add to those facts thst the guy at the counter had a chip on his shoulder from the moment we walked in and you hsve a place to avoid even if they let you play for free. Can't believe anyone would give this current situation anything but one star and even that is too much. A V O I D
