About
Located just west of downtown Orlando in Clermont, Swiss Fairways Golf Course utilizes the wide open and hilly terrain that is typical for that area, but uncommon throughout the rest of the state. Large greens welcome low handicappers while strategic bunkering is incorporated into the layout to add some challenge. There are over a hundred sand traps in total and 10 water hazards come into play. Swiss Fairways Golf Course has a relaxed, casual atmosphere that is far from the typical country club environment. Although it is relatively unknown, the Swiss Fairways Golf Course will most likely grow in popularity due to its affordable rates and interesting layout.

Surprise surprise
This is now a 9 hole course which you play twice if you paid for 18 holes. Our t time was 11:58 and we went off at 12:50. We had to weave in with people coming off their first 9. It was the craziest thing we’ve ever experienced on a golf course EVER. Play here if you don’t mind waiting around and hope you get in 18.
Terrible office.
We booked a tee time for 9:30. When we arrived to the course. They were closed. When calling the pro shop they said they’d be closed for the day. We never received a phone call, email, or text to say our tee time was canceled and had to drive 45 minutes just to find out we couldn’t play.
Nine hole course
So sad to see they closed the back nine. On their website you can still see some of those holes in the video.
The course also had some very muddy areas, which should have been roped off, to avoid damage from the carts.
Swiss Changed
No longer 18 holes, play the same front nine twice.
Miss the back nine.
No signs telling you the back nine is closed, or told on website.
Front nine was okay, wet from over watering, green very good.

Was disappointed to find out that the back nine was closed--seemingly forever, Had to play the front nine twice.
Challenging Course
This golf course is very challenging for every skill level. Lots of water challenges, I enjoy playing this golf course and have played there many times in my 17 years in Florida.

It's no longer an 18 hole course. You play the front 9 twice. It's a shame because it was 1 of my favorites!
Going Downhill Fast
Too bad. A well designed layout suffering from a lack of maintenance. Burned out greens, unplayable bunkers and weeds are taking over the fairways. Have played this course last five years and this is the worst it's been. To top it off - you have to play the same nine holes twice (back nine is closed.

Please stop listing this course as being 18 holes. They were forced to close the back 9 holes due to green space equirements. Unfortunately the front 9 holes are not in their best condition. 2 star is currently the most accurate rating.
