Swiss Fairways Golf Course

Course was in process of being over seeded, but was still in nice shape. Fairways & Rough were trimmed nicely. And greens were in good shape.

Turf was over watered, to the point where my feet sunk into the fairway turf. Ground crew member refused to turn off irrigation until after we teed off. Said the owner told him to do so and he only listens to the owner. Forced to hit through heavy sprinklers which slowed down the drivers, immediately after the crewman shut off the irrigation

The greens were in poor condition, filled with crab grass and very uneven surface.

I have played this course many times, this is the worst experience I have had, I will not be returning. Not to mention they no longer have access to the back nine, had to replay the front nine to get in 18 holes.

Apparently the word is out on this course, only saw three other golfers playng.

Swiss used to be a challenging 18 hole course with a very interesting back 9. Now, no more back 9. an 18 hole round is to do the front 9 twice. Sorry to say that's not for me.

Terrible greens and unmaintained fairways with unfriendly staff. Waste of money if you ask me.

I played the course today very sad. I dislike giving out bad reviews on any course but this course deserves a bad review its in terrible condition. The staff was friendly and nice but the greens were like putting on bad grass and patchy weeds throughout. The course is listed as an 18-hole course, but only 9-holes are available for play...you have to play the same 9-holes twice. So you play the same bad holes twice. I would NOT recommend playing this course it has potential it just need Investment dollars to help bring it back to life. Good luck!!!

I have been to this course several times before and never have I ever seen it in the terrible condition it’s in! The greens were thick like the fringe of the edge and that’s in the spots that did have grass. I felt like I was putting down a gravel road. The fair ways we’re in okay condition. The layout of the course is good too very challenging. But those greens were just awful. Payed 18 holes and I left after playing 6 just because the greens were just that bad. If I do return to this course it’ll be a long time from now. Hopefully they fix it up.

I have played this course for many years. First as nine holes, then as eighteen and now again as nine. Still find it a challenge and fun.

Had a tee time but course was closed until after 11am. Fairways not well groomed, some areas ok some poor, ball didn't roll much most of the time. Guess they have maintenance issues. Greens were very rough and hard to get a good roll. Probably wouldn't play again unless I was assured the course was groomed. Carts are best gas carts I have used. Price was good.

Played here when it was 18 holes and loved it. Now you play 9 holes twice. No real problem other than it was a really nice 18 hole course. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The greens are getting a little bare in places. Still a good place to play, and you get to watch water skiers, That is something you don't see very often.

I got a good deal on the app and wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised. I would go back for sure.

Always a good day here. Lots of natural Florida scenery.

AT PRESENT NINE HOLES STAFF FANTASTIC COURSE SO SO BIT DRY SOME GREENS VERY DRY, OVER ALL GOOD PRACTICE, INSTEAD OF HTING ROCK PILE

Liked the course when it was 18 holes Not a fan of just 9 holes. Seems like they are trying to make it better Don’t think I will go back with just 9 holes
