Tributary at River Strand Golf and Country Club

I played the sanctuary and tributary loops at river strand and really enjoyed my round.You better bring your "A" putting game as the greens are super fast otherwise you will be continually 3 putting.

same as above course was in great shape, everyone was nice, and the pace of play was great considering we booked at the last minute

Rain drizzle for 3 holes, put course on cartpath only, thought that was an over reaction, hasn't rained in weeks. course is very big so walking was tiresome and time consuming. Very little water on the course from the rain, 90 degree would have been fine.

I had a great time. we played 2 of the 3 nines. Geart course design and layout, lots of water, did I mention lots of water? The staff was great and made the day even more enjoyable. Will play this course many times in the future.

Played the Estuary and Tributary nines. Both were in absolute perfect condition. Plenty of staff to care for members and the public alike. Would return without a second thought.

Never played here before. Course is well maintained with very nice greens and design. Good restaurant. Booked on Golf Now. well worth price.

River Strand is a must for the golfer who loves to play a beautiful and challenging course. Every hole is layed out to take advantage of the natural environment, beautiful marshes, exotic birds and wildlife. The golf is fun to. Challenging yet fair. The greens were pristine and the course in great shape. I particularly liked the Sanctuary 9 holes, very fair and just beautiful. The Estuary 9 takes you through a conservatory of scenery and the Tributary was very difficult. A great day!

Brought my brother here since visiting from out of state. Never again. These guys don't care and treat you like it. I will never play here again and will tell everyone to skip this course. What a joke they are.

Well maintained course with fast undulating greens. Pace of play was excellent. We didn't wait on a shot all day. Finished round in approx. four hours. Staff was super friendly and courteous.

Excellent greens, expansive fairways, variety of holes make this one of the finer Tampa Bay public courses

Played Sanctuary and Estuary and really enjoyed the course and the amenities. Beautiful place top to bottom. Only real complaint I have so far is too many right to left dog-legs around water on Estuary. Got too monotonous a little bit. Not bad holes, any of them, but just a very similar look from the tee. Need to play the 3rd nine. Great course tho so far.

Immaculate condition. There is not a bad hole on the 2 nines I played (Sanctuary, Estuary). The staff was great and the place was busy indicating it is a great place to play. I concur! I highly recommend over other courses close by.

Greens were in perfect condition,
Some groups ahead made the wrong advancement to their 2nd 9 holes and therefore we had a bottleneck of groups in front of us starting with our 2nd 9 holes. Our group and the group in front of us made the advancement of the correct 9 holes but 2 ladies groups suddenly appeared in front of the group in front of us. There is a need to have rangers or signage to remind players what course they are headed to after playing the 1st nine. One par 5 there were 12 carts on that hole and no ranger in site. Screwed up our timing. Also NO code was given to us for use of the course restrooms and it also was not posted on the carts.

Really nice course. Friendly staff including pro shop staff, marshals, & cart boys. Its a top-notch facility.
The course is very nice, with lots of water and sand. With the wind, its a challenge.
Only negative: the greens had just been sanded, and were very bumpy. They needed rolling in the worst way. Guests had failed to repair ball marks, and their pitch marks made the greens even worse.
Overall, it was a really nice day at a super course. If the greens were better, it would have been a 5 star day.

Great course! pace of play could have been better, however it was a saturday.

The best thing about this place are the practice facilities. The range is aqua, but the chipping and putting areas are very good. The course is one of those places that feel like somebody wanted to build a monument. Everything is BIG - the greens, the bunkers, the fairways, etc. Played Jan 1, 2013 and the fairways, tees and bunkers were in good shape. The greens were not - almost seems like there's no grass growing. Best public golf in the area remains Legacy or University Park.

Well it was 60 degrees out with a 30 mph wind. Course was in excellent shape. Great facility and staff friendly.

Very enjoyable, Super friendly staff and well maintained. Would play again.
