Park Ridge Golf Course
About
Park Ridge Golf Course transformed what was formerly the site of the Lantana Landfill into a popular municipal course. Construction began on this unique undertaking in 2004 and the end result was certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Sanctuary. The course climbs up to 85 feet, making it one of the highest golf courses in the county. It has a links-style layout that rolls across a variety of elevation changes, offering plenty of stunning views along the way. Such a contoured and hilly course is a rare occurrence in Florida. The golf course provides a challenge with some very tricky par 3s, several blind shots due to the rolling terrain, and strategically placed traps throughout but there are no water hazards except for one lateral hazard. There is also thick rough framing many of the holes.

The course is a lot of fun
Must keep the ball in play @this course. Otherwise, make sure you bring a dozen. A number of blind tee shots. Nice view of the surrounding area, one of the highest spots in Palm Beach county.
A real value in Palm Beach county
Always a tough but enjoyable course - plays longer than the yardage. Staff might seem gruff, but have to be to keep rounds under 5 hours here in high season. Greens rolling very true, if a bit slow; first-timers beware of numerous blind tee shots.
New England Style Course
The course is not flat, like 90 percent of most
Florida courses. Sets of tees for every ability,
senior to long hitter. Elevated tee boxes on some holes, side hill lies on others also short cuts over
hazards. All of the above including a friendly
staff.
This course is good, but the weather was bad
We had to stop playing at the 7th hole due to the heavy rain. We were advised to contact Golfnow about the possible rainticket. But we like the golfcourse.
Tres beau terrain
Tres bien entretenu , terrain montagneux ,très intéressant a jouer
Cooldest day of the year
Still, a beautiful course to play. The starter could add a smile, otherwise everything was fine.
A voir
Un terrain vallonné qui détonne dans le décor de la Floride. Quelques coups à l'aveuglette mais un parcours bien dessiné et original avec des verts rapides mais qui ne mordent pas.
Not anymore
Good golf course for the begginer, poorly maintained, fairways are dry, greens are too slow, pace of play average with lots of slow players
Wind Factor and Some Blind Shots
Interesting course but uphill blinded shots on several tees off. Course could be challenging on windy days.
Greens were in perfect condition.
Blind shots abound on this course.
This course plays up hill for the most part. Combine that with the usual 20 m.p.h. winds, and you have a course with all you can handle. Bring your "A" game if you plan on playing.
YOU WILL ENJOY IT ..... WE DID!!
This is a very good lay-out, with lots of changes in topagraphy for you. It keeps you interested, especially the abck 9. The greens are in good shape and the fairways are vey palyable. There's lots of challenge out there too!
Miserable cranky Staff
The course was great very challenging and very different . There was a big slowdown on the # 1 handicap hole ,something needs to be done to move people along . The staff was old and cranky ,none had any personality. We couldn't play the 18 th hole because it was 6 pm ,it was still light out . I will never go back if that staff is still employed there.
Park Ridge - Hilly Links Style Course
I played Park Ridge Golf Course for the first time on 1/24 through a GolfNow Hot Deals tee time. The weather was overcast and very windy, and combined with the links style course, I thought I had been transported to Ireland or Scotland, even though I was just in Lake Worth.
The course is as advertised - a unique experience for South Florida with a combination of links style holes and elevation changes. This is most evident on the #1 handicap 8th hole, which drops 50+ feet from the fairway down to the green. There are also several par 3's that are severely uphill, forcing a blind tee shot.
Overall I was very pleased with the course conditions, particularly the fairways and greens. All of the greens were in good shape and seemed to be the same speed. I will definitely play Park Ridge Golf Course again.
Poor service
Immediately upon arriving the outside staff seem to have a problem with how we wanted the bags loaded. Went to check in and asked if there was anything we needed to know about the golf course. shop attendant was rude and very short with us. Was just a very poor way to start the day and we will not be returning.
Hills in Florida?
Very enjoyable! The hills create many unusual, but interesting holes.
Good value for the money
interesting layout with many surprising elevation changes. downside was too many blind shots and the greens were very slow. despite greens like velcro the fairways, tee boxes and greens were in very good condition.
The challenge can improve your score
Fun and challenging. This course can only be played one shot at a time, because you can't see the next one until you get there. Wide fairways help long hitters, if you go in the hazard(lots of it) you loose the ball. The only elevated course in soflo
FIrst time at Park Ridge
We played with GN offer price at 28 dollars plus more than 8 dollars online reservation fees. That starts to be outrageous.
The course was ok. Starter was not too polite, an old chap trying to be something more.
Course architecture ok, fairways ok, greens could be a bit faster.
Pace of play does not earn any credits.
Maybe not the last time visited.
Ride the hills
Very ondulated greens and fairways, greens a little slow but otherwise great.
