Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Very nice course
Overall I think the course is in very good condition.
Very good overall condition.
I happened to hit the greens after recent aeration. So they were a bit bumpy. But the course was in pretty good shape other than that. I would definitely recommend.
Relaxing round of golf
Check in was pleasant and quick. There was no waiting at the first tee box and nobody pushing us or slowing us down. The fairways are clean and not as wet as I thought they would be. The green were just airriated so they were bumpy but that’s ok because they will only be better next time.
Good condition
I overall liked the course, but that was quickly forgotten! I arrived at the first tee about 30 minutes early after I putted and chipped for about ten minutes or so, there was none waiting or teeing off and no starter to be found, so I proceeded to head on out I played the first hole and tees off on the second when all of a sudden the starter came barrling up to my cart asking what my tee time was and rudley asking for my receipt telling me that the twosome I was supposed to play with was waiting back on the first tee. I don’t think I deserved to the sour attitude from the guy after all I am a paying customer! Won’t ever go back there!
friendly layout
Have played many times here, course is wide open with much room for error. The greens were fast and quite smooth, fairways with much grass, tee boxes in good condition. Hot afternoon, lucky we were able to finish the round in about three and a half hours, not held up by other golfers.
Best shape I’ve seen here in 8 years
Not sure who is the head greenskeeper but a lot of course’s in the area could use this as a model !! Greens rolled fast and true, fairways had plenty of grass.

Arlington ridge golf course
The new improvements to the golf course were amazing. The cart path alone was a great improvement taking you to every hole. The restrooms were impressive. The course conditions were unbelievable your ball set up like it was teed up in the fairways , And the greens were the best I’ve seen in the area.

Green and fairways are in great condition. Very nice practice area. I played it 2 years ago and it wasn’t so nice but they have turned it around and I love it.
Nice Course
One of the best courses in the area. Fast greens and with the rain, ponds are full making the course more difficult with a lot of run off the greens. Must play to the front
of greens. Alot of fun to play. Will play many more times.
Arlington ridge golf coarse
The staff in pro shop was nice and let me me know I was with another threesome but they never showed up and that’s ok and contact that I was going by myself and was waiting for me and helped me out with what to watch out for while out on the coarse.
The green where in really good shape considering that they were just arreated motto long ago. I played from the back tees not that I’m all that good of a golfer but it makes it even more challenging. The layout of the coarse is easy to follow from hole to hole. If you never played the there before you can get into trouble because the water pop out of nowhere. Lol
Yes I will play this coarse again and maybe do better. But if I don’t oh well it’s funn. That’s all that count

Sorry to hear about your negative experience. Ideally, we'd like you to check in with either the Pro Shop or Starter before beginning your round; however, we understand that the Starter was not available at the time you decided to tee off. As your tee time was 10:00 and the players you were paired with had not checked in yet, the Starter ran an errand, but returned in time to get your group started on schedule. In the future, it will help staff at other golf courses if you check in with the Pro Shop (if Starter is unavailable) when you want to start before your tee time. This will give staff an opportunity to let you know what's in front of you so you may eventually pair up with others on the course. Additionally, they'll be able to let the players you were originally paired up with know that you started early. Not a major offense and we accept that we could've handled things better on our end, but food for thought going forward.
