Arlington Ridge Golf Club
About
Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

Good condition
Played course immediately after member guest tourney--It was in good condition and greens were smooth and relatively quick----certainly worth the $$!!!
Good Course!
This course can be considered long for the average player but also had bail out areas when needed. Had great putting and chipping facilities. Staff were super friendly and we were lucky enough to be matched up with two personality enriched gentlemen. The greens were very well manicured and could be considered quite tricky, full of undulations. Our only disappointment, after golfing in quite hot, humid conditions, was that the bar closed at 5 p.m. on Tuesdays. No fault of the course as it is separately owned but a disappointment nevertheless when looking forward to a 'cold' one after a great day!
Nice course, Nice staff, Nice day!~
This course never disappoints. To be able to play a course like this in Florida at this time of year for between $30-$40 is truly a bargain. The staff is always very welcoming as are the golfers we encounter while playing "their" course.
First time was 2016.....
We played here in 2016 then took a membership at a different course. This year we wanted to experience various courses again and Arlington was first on our list. We liked the course a lot and like to play by ourselves so we don't feel rushed but, we were paired with 2 fun gentlemen. We all had a really nice time. There is some construction going on but, it didn't interfere with our game. And we will definitely be back to play Arlington. Thank you.!
Playable for all skill levels
Conditions are always good. Challenging layout. Greens putt true. Will play again.
Good condition
Doing a good job keeping the course in good shape a lot of building construction going on
A well laid out course in good condition
Thoroughly enjoyed our round in all respects. Looking forward to a return visit.
Deteriorating Course.
The course although a fun layout is in need of plenty of work. Way too many areas in the fairway, greens and periphery of the fairway without grass. Plenty of areas of water run off though the place looks like it doesn't get watered. The place needs some serious TLC, the greens sped up and some fertilizer. Staying away until mid-May and see whats changed.
Excellent Experience
Really enjoyed playing this course. It's been awhile since I last played here. Course was in very good condition. Very fast greens. Go. Play!
Course ok but not very good shape
Layout is nice. Hard to find any grass to hit from. Played it 2 years ago and it has deteriorated greatly. Will not play there again.
No grass
Very little grass on the greens & fairways. Might as well be hitting the ball off a hard wood floor.
Members could care less about pace of play.....other then that a great layout.....loads of new homes........but not an issue....
A little bit of a let Down
Read the reviews on the course and was a little let down. I realize it is the winter months but the grass was very wore down on Fairways and the greens had been sanded and were bumpy with suttle bare spots and sand. We played various courses during our month stay in Florida and this was our least favorite because of the conditions.
I don't think we would play again, too many other nice courses with a bit more Character also.
First of all, thank you for your comments and for playing our course recently. Second, what you noticed is not so much areas without grass as much as dormant bermuda, which is common this time of the year. We look forward to seeing you again in May!
