Arlington Ridge Golf Club in Leesburg, Fla. runs alongside the Palatlakaha River, which edges along the entire southern boundary. Centuries-old oak trees have a commanding presence on the course with stately oak canopies providing beautiful backdrops to the greens and fairways. Pro golfer and NBC commentator Gary Koch crafted the layout. He wanted to create a golf course that is challenging but not overly difficult, giving it appeal for players of any skill level. The layout has a varied mix of holes that strike a balance between being tough and player friendly. Beginners still have a good shot at finishing the round strong while seasoned golfers will enjoy the subtle nuances of the course's tests that come from the elevated greens, strategically placed hazards, and dogleg approaches. You won't encounter any major obstacles but Arlington Ridge is a golf course that will make you think.

A great layout
We enjoyed our return visit to Arlington Ridge, where we received a warm welcome. However, we were a fourball following two groups of men, and they lost time and had a whole hole open ahead of them very quickly. As a result, the round took nearly 5 hours to complete. The marshall passed us on several occasions, but never suggested that we might find the waiting annoying - which we most certainly did.
Arlington Ridge
Fun course to play...relatively open off the tee box, with some guarded greens. Greens typically in great shape and roll true. Staff always friendly, and pace of play was great. Finished in under 4 hours.

NICE DAY AT THE RIDGE
THS COURSE IN GREAT SHAPE MUCH BETTER SINCE LAST TME PLAYED HERE ABOUT 1 YEAR AGO GREENS GREAT NICE SPEED. THEY HAVE CLEARED OUT BACK WOODS AROUND BACK NINE TO BUILT MORE HOUSES,TO BAD THEY DID NOT LEAVE ANY OF THOSE GREAT OAKS.

Course was in very good condition. Fairways are wide with no trees yet you are challenged by the tree you play from.
Good course Layout
This course is in excellent condition, well maintained and cared for. The Green Keepers at this club take pride in their work and it shows in the way the greens and surrounding aprons are prepared. Wonderful.
We liked the course!
Overall it was a nice course to play. Check in and pic up your cart and drive to your car to get your clubs.
Fairways were generally wide and forgiving but not too easy.
The course was in good condition with even grassy fairways, better than others in the area.
We came back the second time!
Golf Course was in excellent shape. Fairways are wide-open not a lot of hazard and the Greene’s can be challenging. Keep in mind that Golf Course is located in an upscale area; there is considerable construction surrounding the back 9 Where the land is being cleared and the refuge burned off, beware of smoke if you have respiratory problems

Layout was ok. Staff were very nice and helpful.
Condition of greens was poor. Fairway condition was so-so.

Tee box and fairway in very good condition greens roll fast and true pace of play was good foursome just under 4hrs 7:45am t time very golfer friendly course staff very cordial.
Good greens
Nice course , greens are excellent, fast and roll true. Locals are a little crabby don’t seem to like outsiders playing in their little retirement neighborhood. Booking early round will help
