Golf Club At South Hampton

We have played several courses in the area and, to date, this is our favorite. the staff were friendly and helpful. We liked the layout. It is fair but challenging and just enough water to make it interesting. There are several tees to choose from so most any golfer can play the course comfortably. The greens were in good shape and rolled true. The clubhouse is very nice with a bar and good selection of meals. We will definitely return, probably several times before returning home.

40 bucks was golf now service fee included, 8 bucks for a small bucket, warm up range worn out, rock hard, which i used about half, starter was rushing me out. course was busy. fairways rockhard and tight, greens (painted?) pretty fast but somewhat bumpy, mostly true. After rushing out to first tee, things got slow 2hours 5 minutes front nine, left after 14th hole too dark for me, pretty backed up at that point.

Played as a single, with another single and a husband and wife for complete 18 Great layout greens were in great shape. Enjoyed the round slightly under 4 hours ,,I highly recommend this course.

Had a 145 tee time and pace of play was extremely slow compared to many other times I played...Favorite course is South Hampton.

Great course overall. Course is well maintained and is great for all levels of golfers. Greens are always smooth and fast. The food and beverage service here is great and such a friendly staff. If all else fails, there is a beautiful blonde cart girl here that will brighten up your day no matter how bad you’re playing!

Can’t believe how expensive golf I. Jacksonville is in January. $70 for a round was about the cheapest I could find. The course was great, greens fast and nice layout. I just felt $70 was a little steep

The course is open & forgiving, not much water in play, the biggest hazards are the many bunkers both fairway & green side. Putts rolled well on dormant bermuda greens. Course was pretty dry but that is true of most of our area courses now, we need some rain! Will play this course again soon.

Awesome layout. Great condition with various risk / reward holes. Fun to play and Awesome team at South Hampton.

I was able to sneak 9 holes in after work before dark. The woman at the counter was awesome and also the guy pulling pins let me finish out before takin them

For some reason no water on course since Covid. Not good on a hot day
