The Plantation Golf Club - Otter Creek Course

Course was in decent condition. The greens need a lot of work as there were only a few that were perfect. Other than that it’s a good course and in pretty decent shape otherwise.

Fairways are rough. Greens are sandy and in poor condition, tee boxes had grass higher than my tee height. 3 of 18 holes in good condition, the rest was garbage. Took 30 mins at pro shop just to be checked in, no bev sales, no cart girl. Save yourself the terrible experience, go elsewhere

2/23/25. we booked a foursome. on Sunday when we asked on the phone about the course of auto Creek the lady said oh it’s been redone and I asked her why the 25% off and she replies by saying well we’re trying to get people to come back to the course because it was redone so they can enjoy the course so low on how we show up on Sunday morning to force some ask the young lady at the pro shop at 8:15 teatime. so we’re getting 25% off because the course has been redone. She said yes well we get to the first T we get to the first green and it was a total lie. The course was so bad we decided to quit after the first night, I don’t know why they have to lie at the pro shop to get you to come in. Why don’t they be honest about the conditions of the course anyway we took pictures to show the proof of this course. It should’ve been $15 instead of $43 we won’t be back on this course for a while and we be telling our other friends not to come here.

My foursome expected more for the money spent on the green fee. Fairways were very thin and several greens were in poor condition. Sand bunkers and tee boxes were nice. Layout was challenging. Could be an excellent course with better conditioning. Maybe in another month or so when the fairways grow out. Enjoyed the round despite the weather conditions which were extremely windy and a couple of showers.

Front nine course conditions still need work, but the back nine is looking good.

Joined up with three fellows from Canada. Thoroughly enjoyed the round.

Overall, the course layout was good. I player the ‘Otter Creek’ which is one of two courses. The first nine was set up with tight fairways. This nine also had sparse fairways and greens. The second nine was in great shape and some challenging layouts. I would like to play this course again in the summer to see if conditions have improved.

Haven't played here for a few years because of terrible conditions. I know they closed it down for several months to fix the problems and I was impressed with the work they have done on the back nine. Greens on the front nine need some work now

We had a tee time and they sent us off the back nine to start. There were 3 groups (foresomes) of ladies that hadn’t rounded the turn yet. They made us wait for them. The front nine was wide open at the time. Play was extremely slow on the back. When we rounded the turn, we should have been able to continue play but there was a couple teeing off so we had to wait again. Some of the greens on the front are in horrible condition.

Ok looking I’m at the reviews, mine is the same - So the course is in the mend I wanted to play crane but the tee time I wanted was snatched up my fault! Anyways Otter Creek was a great option as I like to play everywhere and any kind of course. Let’s start at the beginning - my tee time was 7:45am so no traffic at all, the lady in the office was extremely nice but also forgot to mention back 9 was closed, as the reviews stated but I wanted to take a chance anyways and the app didn’t say anything about, however when I went in to inquire after the front 9 I seen a sign that I had missed so partially my fault. Anyways no cart girl or cart the entire round, the layout was decent but not extremely hard just narrow, the rough can be thick but I did ok with that. The greens being new are coming along although some spots need help, they are fuzzy and very very slow. The course is decent especially for what I paid, I would potentially be back.

The app provided tee times, allowed me to book them on same day even though the course was closed and then would not allow me to cancel. Fraud. Theft.

I booked the round for two players on golf Now and checked into the course. got my cart key and score card. After playing 9 hole, we traveled the long distance to the 10th hole only to see a sign that the back 9 was closed! I verified this by calling the Pro shop and asking why I wasn't told this at check in. they said Sorry but you can play the front 9 again. The back 9 on this course is the reason we chose this course and were very disappointed that it was closed and especially that we were never informed of this. The remainder of the course, the front 9, was in fair condition but could use some water on the greens and a fair amount of TLC throughout

I was never informed, either when I booked the round or at check in, thst the back 9 was closed! Only after driving the considerable distance from 9 green to 10 tee did I see the sign that read "Back 9 closed". The front 9 could use some work to water the greens and maintain the fairways. Not a happy golf day!
