Just a short distance southwest of the Miami International Airport, the golf course at Costa dels Sol Golf Club is a challenging public course that also boasts scenic views. Although the terrain is mostly flat, this course's difficult comes from the narrow fairways that are lined with trees. The greens are medium sized with some being slightly elevated. Water hazards come into play on the majority of the holes and there are also some sand bunkers as well. The signature hole of the course is the par 3 14th hole, which requires a tee shot past water. Costa del Sol Golf Club also has five long, narrow par 5s as well as some scenic par 3s.

This course requires a well maintenance
However, with the price I paid, it is worth to play there.
Great course, for the price paid.
The course itself is quite nice. Has an interesting combination of par 5, par 4, and par 3 holes.
The clubhouse is under construction, so forget about sitting an enjoying a beer after the 18th hole.
The course layout is great.
The course is definitely a shot-makers choice. Your shots must be placed well in order to have an opportunity to make par. It allows for agressive play but, caution is advised or you can find a watery grave on some holes. It's a very enjoyable course and offers a challenge to moderate and advanced players alike.
Good layout but needs maintenance.
Narrow approaches to the hole and water hazards make this course challenging. However, this course needs maintenance. It would be great if it were kept in better shape. The greens were closer to a fairway cut than any greens I've seen. Made putting frustrating. Greens would not register on the Stimpmeter.
Improvements at Costa del Sol
The new administration has made many improvements to the golf course, pro shop and restaurant. The greens and fairways are in better condition.

A challenging course with plenty of hazards (water).
However, the greens, tee boxes and fairways are in poor condition. The price for 18 holes is so low at times at golfnow.com that I will play the course just for practice.
Too many good options at similar price in Miami
Went there since the price was right but wasn't a fan of their very tight fairways. its basically surounded by highways. I'm a novice but I feel it was tough. Won't be going back.
Swamp
par 5's shortened to 70 yds because of flooding,uncut grass,.
Course should have been closed or at the very least golfers should have been advised of conditions & given the option of cancelling.
Too Expensive
For what it is ... Is very expensive to play in this golf course
The greens are very slow and most of them need a lot of work ...
Not a bad course, just right for the buck in Doral, Miami
Good course layout but some greens are not in tip top condition. Had a great shot on one par 4 hole where my tee shot went out off the fence on the left of the fairway hit a sidewalk and bouces back inside the fairway and 80 yards to the green. Lots of water so prepare to lose some golf balls.
