About
The East Course at the Country Club of Miami boasts several famous players including Bob Hope and Jack Nicklaus. The East Course is one of two courses at the club. The layout puts a premium on strategy and accuracy and it can accommodate both the beginning and experienced golfer. The golf course is well maintained with a layout that features water hazards and bunkers that come into play throughout. There is some housing close to the course. The Country Club of Miami also has a grass driving range as well as large pitching, putting, and chipping areas for golfers to work on their short game.

Good beginner course
If your a seasoned golfer. Not the best conditions to play. Course lay out fun. Chipping conditions around the course need much improvement. Lots of weeds. Over all good value. But don’t expect great conditions.
Satisfying
Based on the other 3 courses we have played in area course was in decent shape..yes some green were a bit worn in spots but main issue is with players that don't fix ball marks; staff was pleasant except starter could be more helpful...
If you're serious about golf dont play here.
This course has a nice layout and has potential to be a great, fun and difficult course. The course was in the worst shape I've ever seen a par 72 in. The greens are actually terrible. Multiple holes have dry patches, poorly laid sod, or just patches of the green cut out. To be fair if you dont have a crater in your line they roll pretty decently. This is a course that could be used to teach or learn how to hit a ball but if you are actually trying to record a score this place is a disaster. The people and staff are professional and nice but the product is not good. This place has a pretty good practice area though so it's good for that.

Course was in average shape. Looks like they’re making a real effort to get it back to where it needs to be.

Miami golf fun!
My wife and I played here on a Hot deal from golf now. I almost didn’t do it because of the bad reviews. Unless you’re a golf course conditions snob you should go for it. Yes, there were some rough spots on the tee boxes, greens and fairways but they weren’t as bad as some of the other reviews say. I actually thought for the price it was in decent shape. It’s a full length course that is challenging but really fun. We are from the northeast and it was fun to be golfing in warm weather in March. We saw Iguanas, cool birds, and an owls nest. We had a fun afternoon.
Fairways and greens
Fairways and greens are dried out. The course need a lot of maintenance. As for me it’s of for practice. Will recommend for practice rounds.
Terrible golf course
Terrible golf course This course 15 years ago was probably one of the best golf courses in the south Florida now it’s one of the worst
