Miccosukee Golf & Country Club - Marlin Course

This is a challenging course. Long par fours and enough water to keep the golfer on his toes.

The course is well maintained and in good shape.

The course has 27 holes. Nine were closed for maintenance. The 18 holes we played had 9 holes covered in sand and the day before the greens were punched. The second 9 had the worst greens I’ve ever seen. I realize greens need summer maintenance but if I was aware of this I would’ve played somewhere else.

Nice design. Greens are in very good condition. Staff is friendly and very accommodating. The food is moderately priced and ok.

Overall experience good

If you have never played this course you definitely I would recommend it highly.

Miccosukee is one of the more consistent courses in Miami. You always know what you're getting. A fair, difficult layout. Greens always above average, and on the right day, pretty quick. The rest of the course in decent shape. And underwhelming scenery (the last part can't be helped). Just a fun course to play, and extremely demanding when the wind is blowing (and it was gusting up to 25 yesterday).

Good course for the money lots of water and sand.Would recommend, greens in good condition fairways decent and friendly staff.

South Florida could use more rain to help course conditions, but the course was generally in good shape, particularly the Barracuda 9.

The course staff is friendly and helpful. The grass is well maintained and the greens are in great condition.

The Barracuda is in great shape. The greens aré beautiful. Marlin greens are okay, not great. Give it a try. It is not an easy course. Lots of long par fours.

Looks great from a distance, but many brown areas. Lots of water and fast somewhat difficult greens.

Plusses: the course is well-maintained; the staff is excellent; if you get a good golf cart and people playing on pace it will be enjoyable.

Minuses: Cart died on 7th hole, had to call the clubhouse to replace; replacement cart had no break lock; some inconsiderately slow players ahead of us on a fishing expedition for lost balls in the water hazards; locked bathroom on the back 9.

Nice course. 27 holes. Bermuda is pretty gnarly for snow birds who are used to bent grass. I would definitely play again.

First time playing and enjoyed the course. Staff was friendly and pace was very good. No GPS on carts and that added to the challenge because some of the holes and a challenge visually and the hazard distances were a guess. It was very windy, one club less with the wind and two clubs more against the wind. Made approach shots longer. And for some reason, many of the pins were set on the front edges, which added to the challenge
