Lanier Islands Resort - Legacy Golf Course

A great looking course on the shores of Lake Lanier. This course is really tough and 3/4 of the holes incorporate the lake. This course compares favourably to the best courses I have played in the States, Scotland and continental Europe.

Best holes are the v tough 14th and the stretch from 10-13 are also good. The only holes that aren't challenging or interesting are the 7th and 8th.

Free food and drink are included with your green fee and it is of a good quality.

Only negatives would be the greens as I am not a fan of the mini verde. but they are lightening and in great condition.

Very scenic golf course. Greens were rolling fast. I think they said they were the new mini-verdi bermuda greens. It would even be a more beautiful course when the fairways green back up in the spring. Free food and drink were included in your green fees. It does have alot of blind shots so I would buy the yardage book next time. Greens were hard, not many divots, maybe due to the season or just the type of greens.

The course has a great view and every hole is well designed. A bit challenging but fun enough to think about how to play the hole. Only one thing that I was not satisfied with is its green condition. I cannot say it is poor but worse than the overall quality.

Awesome course on Lake Lanier, great layout, very challenging layout and green. The green and layup area is not that great in winter month.

This course is not about hitting the long ball, it is about hitting accurate tee and iron shots. But that is the easy part as the greens are fast but true. On some holes you will have to be on the right part of the green or you will most likely 3 putt. Great value as it includes food and range balls. Great staff.

Great experience. Tough course in great condition, friendly staff, free amenities. If you want a scenic course, its tough to beat this one.

The greens were well maintained and the view is beautiful. There are a lot of diffcult and challenging holes making the course fun to play.
The staff is very friendly and helpful.

The conditions were excellent. The pace of play was good, staff was friendly, and the views on the course were amazing. We will be back to this course in the future.

Beautiful layout in a great lakeside setting. Free food, bev , snacks. The more you play, the less it costs.
