Lanier Islands Resort - Legacy Golf Course

Great course. Each hole has its own nuance. #12 has to be my favorite with the 200+ carry over water. Everything was in great shape.

Loved the course, everything included was nice, course was well kept and the Scenery was Amazing.

Can't wait to get back and play another Round

This place is everything they advertise and more! The staff is over the top with customer service. They meet you at your vehicle and take your clubs to your cart with your name on it. The practice balls, food and drinks are included in your price. This will definitely be one of my favorite courses to play a round at for now on!!!

Keep this up and everyone I know will be going here to play, no matter the drive!😂😂😂 They don’t have enough stars for me to give them 10 stars. I LOVE this place!

Just a bad value compared other courses in the area. They pride themselves on providing food, but the quality is terrible and has even gotten worse over the years. You can play courses in better condition and more reasonable green fees. Nice layout, great staff, just would like to see either course conditions improve or not charge the most in Atlanta for public golf. Not the best track for the money.

Leia may be one of the great employees that I’ve dealt with I 67 years. having an employee like her is what all employers strive for, to represent the establishment in such a manner that is pleasing that want you to come back. She exemplifies this. Thank you for a great experience

Amazing course! Great conditions top to bottom. Greens, fairways, tee boxes, bunkers were all pristine!

A warning for the average golfer though, this may not be your course. Lots of narrow fairways and tee shots that needed to be shaped. Also a few holes have long carries.

Greens were fast, and almost always protected by a bunker or two.

Pin placements were almost comical sometimes as they were always on a ridge and sometimes only a few feet from one edge of the green.

Food, drinks and range balls all included in your round so don’t be too scared of that price.

The speed of play was so slow it was painful we gave up after 12 holes as waiting 15 to 20 minutes on every tee would not come and pay again on a weekend

Online gallery and drone footage looked spectacular, and in reality it was also. When we arrived they took our clubs and invited us to go inside and enjoy any food or drink (non alcoholic) we wanted as it’s part of the experience of playing there.

The course played as tough as expected and greens were fast and had some slope to them

No easy putts, but plays relatively short from the blues. In great shape. Greens roll fast.

If you want a fun, yet challenging course with some of the most picturesque golf you’ll ever play then this is the place for you. The staff is amazing and the course is always in great shape with some of the best greens in the Southeast. This is truly the best kept secret in Georgia.

The courses are good conditions and always the staff are friendly but the price too high.

Lanier Islands Legacy GC is the best among the many public and private courses that I played on. It starts with really excellent service from the staff upon arrival, followed by the unlimited food and drink that comes with the reservation. Then, the course itself -the layout and the views - is simply amazing. The tee times are well spaced out. There is no or very short wait time to hit shots. The course is very challenging and I always have high scores but that is a different story :-) Try it. Highly recommendable.

For 150 bucks, you’d expect greens that are more than 5 on the stump meter. These greens rolled like garbage.

Staff couldn’t have been nicer to our group. Course is in amazing condition. Great mix of challenging holes and fun holes. Overall best course of the year for me

Beautiful course; great staff; wonderful amenities; nice perks with fees. Lots of challenging holes and layout but the scenery and conditions make it so worthwhile.
