Golfer Reviews
Great day of golf
Course was in great shape. Played Bay and Piper and the course was in very good condition. No complaints other than being stuck behind a very slow 4some on the back 9.
Sandpiper Bay
Great staff! Nice layout! The greens were nice and soft , not the most difficult course for low handicap players. The bay course of the 27 holes was tougher than the Piper nine. If you want a fast pace course look no further.
Fun Round
Just enough trouble to make it interesting. Played the Sand and Piper. Did not get to play the other nine. Conditions were good and play moved along quickly. Finished up in 4 hours and 15 minutes, just about right.
Great starter and extremely organized
This place has it figured out. They have a team of starters and keep the golfers moving on time.
Course was very fair and in great shape.
Well down to management!
Great course
I just don’t like they start people on the back so once you make the turn you sow down.
Great Course
The course was in great condition. Great pace of play . Stopped in to have lunch after and Lisa was awesome!! A great round!!
NIce
Track was wet but some of the best greens I've seen in the Myrtle Beach area so far.
Joenic516
Very wet due to recent rains, but playable. Group ahead of group in front of us, threesome, had no course etiquette. Watched the girl hit several balls of tee on par three, three times, instead of going to drop zone. All this while two groups waiting at tee behind them. Right, THREE groups on par three, all at the tee box. No ranger to be found.
Best greens around
While I've played Sandpiper Bay on a fair number of occasions, playing it in a steady rain and sub-40 degree temperatures was new. Nonetheless, the course was in very good condition (despite the puddling and cart path only day). Fairways were green and inviting, with most holes wide and fairly forgiving. Greens were, as always, among the best in the area (if not THE best). We'll be back!
