Winter Park Golf Course
About
Dating back to 1900, Winter Park Golf Course is one of the oldest golf courses in Florida. The course and clubhouse are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Despite being a nine-hole golf course, Winter Park Golf Course is not an ordinary pitch and putt. Known for its narrow, tree-lined fairways and postage stamp greens that are heavily guarded by bunkers, the golf course presents a formidable test to even the most skilled golfers. The golf course is ideal for golfers looking to sharpen their short game skills. Besides offering a challenging game, Winter Park Golf Course has extremely affordable rates that make it a great location for catching a quick round.

Winter Park 9
Fun course to play for all levels. I would definitely play this multiple times a week if I lived in the area!
good for exercise
Greens in rough shape, pouring sand down on them between my shots, pretty basic course, alot of traffic going by so if you hit long, have a slice or hook you could end up buying windshield. Told by staff not to pull pin out havent heard that. Was nice to be able to walk 9 but better bang for buck elsewhere.
Went to play today, showed up to the course and the greens were sandy as a beach and nothing on the website about the greens being punched. Please please please update your website and alerts if the greens are being punched.
great shape/poor pace
Course in in excellent shape...fixed a few ball marks that weren't mine, sorry to say. Pace of play awful .Waited on every tee starting at #4, A threesome, well aware of us behind them, couldn't walk any slower to their shots..glacial off the teeboxes. Such poor etiquette and lack of awareness was the only negative out there. Play this course!
Outstanding
Great course. Super fun walk. Outstanding condition. A must play
Suprisingly well kept executive course, good experience
I loved this 9 hole neighborhood course, greens kept in great condition, challenging enough with well placed white sand bunkers. would definitely come back again.
Course Conditio
Course was in very good condition.
18 hole rate, with riding cart, is very expensive, compared to other similar courses.
Best public 9 I’ve played
This is a great course and the best public 9 hole course I have played!
TERRIBLE SERVICE
By far the worst staff I have ever encountered. They do not allow you to book a tee time on the phone and instead insist on an inconsistent 3rd party website. If the website doesn't work and try to book over the phone, the staff tells you to refresh or try again later. When I tried to use the website, I was charged the entire booking fee only to find out that someone else booked the same tee time and was told to resolve it with the 3rd party website. They DO NOT want to help you. If you show up 1 minute late to your tee time, they do not let you on the course even if no one is booked behind you. I live in Winter Park and would love to golf here for the convenience but the staff has made what would be a fun afternoon/morning with my friends (on any other course I have ever played) an unbearable event. If you can golf ANYWHERE ELSE, you should.
Faldo Calls the WP National for Good Reason!
I've been playing here for over 20 years, but was in Bellagio, Italy in 2015 and ran into one of the people from Winter Park that was on the commission to study feasibility and ROI of updating/rennovating the course. Was invited to attend the Reveal Party, as well as the Grand Opening tournament on 1 Oct 2016, so I may be a little biased but I still think this is the closest thing to target golf in Orlando! The new multi-level greens, bunkers and mounding make this a shotmaker's paradise or a hacker's nightmare - it's certainly not the pushover it once was! If you recall, Sir Nick Faldo called this "Winter Park National" before the redesign, and it's even better now as "WP9" - so much fun as the tee boxes and pin positions make it feel like a different course every time you play it. Short, but sweet - Golf Magazine recently rated it as one of the Top 10 Muni's in the country for a reason! Head Pro (Greg) and Assistant Pro (Anthony) are always there to provide a warm and friendly welcome - can't wait for Night Golf to start when the days get shorter!
