Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: fourth, par-4, 409: A tough if straightforward hole, but it still can be touchy trying to hit a green that is this well protected by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Nice views Photo submitted by Don9789882 on 11/02/2012
Nice course. Some of the greens are incredibly slow and bumpy. Good value
Great course for the money.
Greens had been punched a week or so prior, but still putted ok. The rest of the course was in prime condition. I definitely will play here again.
Old faithful
No matter when I play the courses, the fairways, greens and first rough are in great shape. This was the case on the 22nd. Thanks, team.
Pace of play ruined a great experience
So the staff (starter) decided it was a great idea to let a group of five staff members play. Was told that they would play quickly, not so much! Waited almost ten minutes on one tee as the “staff members” searched for multiple balls!
Great course
My friend and I played. On Tuesday 5/16 and really like it course. We rebooked and played on Friday. Staff is friendly, Course itself was in good shape. Only fault is that our back nine the greens had been aerated a couple of weeks prior and was still bumpy. But I wouldn’t let that deter you from playing this hidden gem. Pace of play was great for a Friday. When we come back to Vegas, it’s on our list to play again.
Staff and course excellent
Staff was extremely nice and course was in excellent shape!
Incredible Course
Played a 4.5 hr round, paired with 2 golfers who started playing 4 months ago. The course is the best condition of any I saw in the greater Vegas area. Coyote had their greens punched at the end of April but had recovered well enough to roll smooth. Best bang for buck out there and extremely worth the drive!
Nice track, good conditions
Fair, semi-challenging lay out. Greens were fast but true, no gimmicky holes.
Good course, open so good for beginners.
Great course with mainly wide fairways. It was in great condition and the strong blustery wind made course difficult but still very interesting. With strong wind behind I almost managed to reach par 5 18th in two shots which is really good for me.
Excellent course with great layout
Played Boulder Creek on very windy but sunny day. Truly a great course and playing from the back tee requires a lot of strategic game plan and construction of club selection. Plenty of bunkers were placed just in the right spot, so often playing a good lay up shot pays off.
The staff was super nice and friendly- thank you for your hospitality.
I would play Boulder Creek again at any day and recommend it if you wish to get a awesome desert golf experience.
