Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Coyote Run: hole two, par-4, 443: A challenging par-4 that sports numerous fairway and greenside bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025
-
Coyote Run: 4th hole, par-5: This long dogleg-left is complicated by an arroyo that will pester second shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Coyote Run: 8th hole, par-3. Palm trees add luster to a water-guarded green complex. A two-tiered green is protected by bunkers front and back. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025
-
Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025
-
Eldorado Valley: hole 2, par-3, 168: It runs downhill from the tees and features a tricky green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025
-
Eldorado Valley: fourth, par-4, 409: A tough if straightforward hole, but it still can be touchy trying to hit a green that is this well protected by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Golfer Reviews
Great Vegas Golf
El Dorado best of 3 nines but Desert Hawk fun, Coyote Run ok.

Really excellent course
Fantastic course top to bottom. Nice practice area, 3 excellent 9s for variety. Has many tees to play, from the tips it is a different course altogether, from the Gold a very reasonable challenge. Excellent layout with interesting holes and reachable Par 5s, a fair test of golf by any measure.
Coyote Run Hole 1 I have almost always encountered coyotes so feel free to admire from afar and take advantage of the wild animals free drop rule.
Pricing is very reasonable for this absolute gem.
course in great shape
played chymaia last week it is. awful. Boulder Creek is away better condition for the same price.
Disappointing
After having played this course once before I was looking forward to my second round. Maybe it was an off day for the staff but their friendliness was under whelming. The carts were in horrible shape (missing ball holders in the console, no top to the cooler, the GPS was out) and when I explained I was not “with” the person I was playing with (meaning I needed a single cart) the eye roll was enormous!
I do love the course but was a little put off by the staff this time.
Great Course to play and friendly staff
First time golfing in Vegas area ..What a beautiful course I would of golfed it another day if i could of. Fairways were excellent and greens were in great shape also and i got a great price on golf now
Nice condition
The course is in good condition the reseeded grass needs to be cut it’s long and shaggy just like the tee boxes. The greens are very good and fast. This is my first time playing Boulder Creek and I would definitely recommended it, they have many different tees for all skill levels the black tees are a monster
Great desert course
Love this course! Excellent desert course -- not a housing development! Great, close by mountain views. This course has a lot of features: bunkering, water hazards, elevation change, rolling terrain. Conditions anywhere near the green were superb. fairways looked like they could use a little more water, but played just fine. Tee boxes were commonly elevated and in good condition. We played Coyote Run and Desert Hawk courses. Great layout with a unique feel to each hole. This course is now in my top 5 for Vegas to-play courses.
