Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Coyote Run: hole two, par-4, 443: A challenging par-4 that sports numerous fairway and greenside bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Coyote Run: 4th hole, par-5: This long dogleg-left is complicated by an arroyo that will pester second shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Coyote Run: 8th hole, par-3. Palm trees add luster to a water-guarded green complex. A two-tiered green is protected by bunkers front and back. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Coyote Run: 9th, par-4, 469: Arguably the most complex hole on a sophisticated nine, where pars are well-earned. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: hole 2, par-3, 168: It runs downhill from the tees and features a tricky green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Eldorado Valley: fourth, par-4, 409: A tough if straightforward hole, but it still can be touchy trying to hit a green that is this well protected by bunkers. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 12/19/2025

Golfer Reviews
Challenging course
Thoriughly enjoyed the course. Would recommend the golf course to anyone thinking about golfing here.
Great course
Love the course, played it last year when we visited Vegas and will try to always make time for a round here
Packed but fun
Do to over seed at other valley courses it was super busy. Ended up with an older cart. No gps and no cooler. The course was in great shape. Tee to green it was great.
Fun course
This was my first time out here. It was a nice day and the course was in good condition. Greens were in good shape too. With three 9’s there no doubt I’ll be back to play all the tracks. Even Just switching up the tees I play from will make this course a regular spot.
Worth The Drive from LV
Really nice layout. Every hole is different. Don't care for the El Dorado 9 but we didn't have a choice. Finished in under 4 hours. Group behind us hit into us all day but there was no Player Assistant/Marshal on this course. Would have called the pro shop but thought it might make things worse since the starter was friends with the group.
Nice course
Nice course, real good customer service. Only negative was some loser behind us. His name was Ben, balding, overweight and and a real jerk. He hit a ball five feet from us. I drive up and Ben said let us play through. But idiot didn’t know we were Waiting on people from us. After that we had fun.
Nice layout with very nice greens. Staff very friendly and professional.
Wow, just wow
great course! Starter was friendly, layout was great , fairways perfect, greens true, and plenty of sand should you choose.
Beverage cart lady was very nice and readily available, and the turkey wrap and hot dog was tasty and decently priced. We will be back!
Great time
Another fun and challenging round at Boulder Creek. Always enjoy playing here. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Course is in great shape and always challenging.
I guess the only suggestion I would have is maybe update the GPS screens as they are hard to read and the carts overall are showing their age. But everything else is great.
Boulder creek
nice course, well kept and challenging and open fairways with lots of sandtraps
