Boulder Creek Golf Club - Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley
About
There are 27 holes of championship golf at Boulder Creek Golf Club. The holes are divided into three nines that are played in different 18-hole combinations. The Desert Hawk/Eldorado Valley golf course combines the longest and shortest nines. The Desert Hawk nine offers plenty of room with generous greens and wide fairways. Though Eldorado Valley is the shortest, but you would never be able to tell. The nine rewards long drives and there are unobstructed shots from the lush fairways. Water hazards come into play, mostly on the front nine, while the back nine's challenges come from the deep, natural sand bunkers that are strategically positioned along the greens. Throughout the course, golfers will enjoy a scenic and diverse landscape that shifts from desert to verdant meadows accented with colorful wildflowers.

Playing 18 during C’rona 19
Beautiful day on this superb course..excellent pace hope the courses continue with tee times every 15 minutes..no waiting..can’t wait to be. Back..
Great day on the course
Golf course was in great shape lots of space no one in front or behind. 3 1/2 round.
Amazing course and friendly staff
Due to the closure of the vegas strip I decided to venture out and play some golf. Found this course, and it didn’t disappoint. The staff was very friendly and sights were breathtaking. If you are out in Vegas and looking for a great golf experience I would check this one out!
Great Course
My wife and I were in Vegas last week, this was our third round of the week and it could not have been more enjoyable. Beautiful course, great practice facility, friendly staff. If you are in the area, take the time to get a round in @ Boulder Creek.
Transition Time
It’s the time of year when the courses are transitioning from winter to summer conditions so greens are a bit rough. However we always enjoy playing Boulder Creek and make it a point to include it in our Vegas Golf Schedule.
Very nice course
The course was in great conditions. The only thing I didn't like were the greens. Very difficult to read.
windy day
Most locals bailed with 25 mph winds. Course in good shape. Even playing extra ball about 1/2 the time still got around in 2 hrs, which made for an enjoyable pace of play.
Poor Condition of Greens Spoiled a Great Course
I picked this up as a Hot Deal through GolfNow. I had been planning to play the course anyway and the deal came along just as I was ready to book (the day before playing). I got the day and tee time that worked best for me. Kudos to GolfNow.
This was my first time playing Boulder Creek. The views are impressive, with the desert valley stretched out beneath the course. Check in was easy and staff were friendly enough, but they were clearly more used to dealing with course regulars.
The driving range is huge and there are plenty of short game practice areas. This is where I first encountered the poor condition of the greens. They mere a mottled colour, mix of dark and light greens and bumpy would be an understatement. The starter let me know they are in between seasons and have two different kinds of grass on the greens. It was terrible to putt on - bumpy, slow and inconsistent.
The course itself was a classic desert layout - lots of washes, arroyos, coolees to play out of that required a golfer to play their entire bag. The locals I played with described it as a mild day wind wise - which I calcluated as a 2-3 club wind. This made the uphill 180 yd par 3 into the wind pretty challenging, but made the downwind number one handicap hole getable.
Each cart has a detailed GPS, but the bright sun makes it almost unreadable. Plenty of water on the course and beverage carts on each side kept hydration easy.
I like this course and would play here again, but would not pay the full rate unless the greens were in better condition.
Poor Greens
The course layout and staff were good. The greens are in transition and we’re inconsistent. I was very frustrated and wanted to leave the course halfway through my round.
Disappointed
Boulder Creek is one of my favorite golf courses when I come to Henderson. Today, the greens were Abysmal. Poa taking over the greens, not cut, bumpy, uneven speeds. I felt that I wasted my money and time.
Review
Fairways were in good shape - but the greens had multiple types of grass growing on them. The greens were very bumpy and slow to the point where you could not keep a ball on line. Good layout - I hope they get the greens fixed.
Great course
I live in Los Angeles and you need to play some of the better private clubs to get a course in this type of condition. The fairways were mostly like carpet. The greens were going through a change, but still in wonderful condition. All I can say is that I wish I had a public course in Los Angeles that even slightly resembled Boulder Creek.
First time at Boulder Creek
Enjoyed it s lot, friendly staff, challenging layout.
Fairways tightly mowed so get some role. Green didn't look quick but ball rolled well with a few bumps. Target golf but if on appropriate tee box you can club down a little down and still have a.comfortable shot to the green.
Highly Recommend.
This was a great course layout, playing hard and fast with occasional wind at 10-15 mph. The staff was super nice and allowed me to enjoy my vacation round alone. The greens were nice, fairways tight and fast. I have played a lot around Vegas and this course is worth the short drive from the strip.
This course has great features
Played Desert Hawk to El Dorado, The pace was great, no hold ups this morning. The course was in great shape and the staff was super friendly and helpful.
HIDDEN GEM IN DESERT
you begin with a par 5 pretty wide open with nice views of valley. frequent changes in elevation makes this course more exciting than most in town.It is definitely worth the 15 min drive from strip area.
This course is a very good and fair test of golf.
Course is difficult but fair. Must keep it in play to score. Fairways and greens are in great shape. Pace of play is excellent. Staff is always helpful. A real pleasure to play.
