Great Value Course
I love this course. The layout is great, but the course could definitely use some TLC. The fairways are quite firm and the boundaries of all the greens look like they're marked GUR. They just aerated a couple weeks ago and they're still kind of hard to judge speeds, but that's understandable. My one and only real gripe is the bunkers. Most of them are rock hard, some actually have physical rocks in them to the point of being unplayable. All in all, it's a great course for the money, and I feel like improvements are being made. I'll definitely be playing there again.
Standing water on greens
It hasn’t rained in over a week yet a bunch of the holes and greens were drenched. Putting with your feet in puddles is not golf. The layout of this course is very cool with all the doglegs, it’s just a shame they don’t care about the course.
Worth the money
The course is well worth the money, the greens are good and the layout is nice.
Fair price and will be back soon.
Some greens need a bit of care and quite a few tee boxes as well. Pro shop staff was friendly. Only issue I had was a group of 5 in their early 20’s with ZERO etiquette in front of us. Great price and I will be back soon.
Not as bad as the reviews say
First off Donna in the pro shop was amazing. She accommodated a very last second addition to our group and her smiling face was the perfect way to start a round! The course was in much better shape than reviews say. Greens rolled very well. Course is rough on the edges but overall for the money it’s the best value in central Florida.
Ben
Course has great potential but has been let go with no one to take care of it. Course was in horrible shape and not one you want to take your friends to. Staff was friendly but not sure they know any better. Sad . In my thirty years of playing it has to be one of the bottom courses I have ever play. Great potential, poor management.
Beats waiting at mouse courses and $160 rounds
My title says most. The layout is really good. Is every blade of grass perfect? No. But I’m not a tour player and most like your not either. Greens are good and to me that matters more than tee. Lady in shop was
Awesome
They're trying.
This is a nice little course.
The course is kept in pretty good shape but the sand traps tend to fill with water after a rainy day and it takes them a few days to empty.
Many of the sand traps have stones and rocks in them that should be cleaned up.
Only snacks are available in the club house.
OMG!!! What a mess
This place is super cheap, but it is in such bad condition it was mega expensive for the value. If it was free, I wouldn’t waste the gas getting there a second time.
I read the other reviews and though how bad could it be? Well it was worse. Besides mowing, nothing has been spent on this course in years. I recommend letting it go back to nature so the residents would have the wildlife to enjoy.
On the plus side, it’s a great design. Challenging holes that require some thought. So sad to see such a neglected place.
Good course
Good layout. Well maintained. Attentive rangers for pace of play. Overall a ++ for value for money. Not exactly resort facilities-plane Jane clubhouse but that’s not why you are here. Enjoyed the golf. Not my best round-the course beat me. Will definitely drop in again next trip to FL.
