Great course
Great course and layout, staff and members so helpful.
Highly recommended
We had a great afternoon here. The course, and in particular the greens were immaculate. Good pace of play helped by the two cuts off the fairways stopping the ball getting to the extreme rough so finding the ball was easy. Great welcome in the proshop and in the clubhouse. Highly recommended.
Fabulous course
Beautiful course fairways great greens excellent wildlife fabulous as well. Food & drink after was well priced and tasted great highly recommend this course
Excellent condition
Played at Barnard Castle a number of times and it is always a pleasure, it’s set in beautiful surroundings and always seems to be in great condition

Course layout and condition 1 st rate. A couple of ladies jumped in on the 9 th, despite signs asking that not to happen, so we were held up. Clubhouse drinks and food great - the clubhouse is very functional has a 1970’s feel so needs some modernisation when funds allow

A lovely course set in lovely scenery, greens were fantastic.
Lovely club house with reasonable prices.
Very welcoming all round from staff and members.

This course was lovely
The course was great but when we got there there the bloke in the pro shop said I don’t know how you have booked it for 11-40 when it’s members only till 12 but if that’s what golf now are doing it must be ok apart from that loved it
Over booked
Course was in really nice condition and the greens were lovely. Whole day ruined by the pace of play though! It took 4 hours to get through 12 holes!
We ended up walking off without completing the round as at that rate it would have taken probably 6 hours for the full 18. Real shame because as I say the course is lovely.
Course in excellent condition.
Welcomed at the club shop.
Great views and weather was kind definitely will return
