Excellent golf challenge
We booked using the hot deal which was amazing value. There had been rain for a number of days but this was barely noticeable on the course.
Good challenge.
Beautiful course
Played this course on a magnificent afternoon.It was in great condition even though greens had been recently airiated.Could not fault anything,well worth a visit.
First rate Course
Just played today for the 1st time and would highly recommend .....wind was blowing strong but didn’t spoil our round ....course is well laid out with with some nice and challenging holes and has a small stream running all over the course which can make you plot your way around .....greens have been drilled and sanded for maintenance but where ok to putt on ....all in all great place ,great course and great staff and for £16 a round top value for money .....will definitely be returning soon
An absolute gem
This course is fantastically well mapped out, well manicured and greens are superb.
August Bank Holiday weekend
Played 1.30pm Saturday and with plenty 3-4 balls out round was 3 hours 45 mins, we were a 4 ball.
Despite a week of heavy rain course was in great condition with only a tiny amount of standing water on a couple of holes, most played as you'd expect for late summer.
Found the course challeging but fair. Better yardage markers on some of the holes would be useful for visitors but overall an enjoyable round and would highly recommend to all levels.

Cannot fault this course. I will definitely return for another round.
Quick game of golf
Just needed a quick game to give ourselves something special to remember and it was great.
Great course
Played the course yesterday and really enjoyed the round . Friendly people and the course in great condition the greens also really good .if you have time you should play this little gem . Definitely book again . Well done to the club
Nice course, good holes and layout
A well prepared parkland course within nice setting. We have had 30 miles plus wind but enjoyed still enjoyed it. I definitely recommend a trip to Barnard Castle in any weather!

First time playing Barnard Castle golf course today. Overall great course. Could not complain at all.

Outstanding layout
Although we had some very heavy rainfall and our local course was closed, we were pleasantly surprised how dry the course was another exceptional experience on a fantastic golf course. We also partook of the full English breakfast which was superb top marks to the chef, we will be returning in the very near future.

Absolutely a class course in fantastic condition and well worth the money will definitely play again
Magnificent
Exceptional experience from welcome at the pro shop to playing the stunning course with greens in superb condition and to round a great day off a very friendly reception in the clubhouse , what more could you ask for.
Tricky but lovely
Tricky course with lots of meandering water . Good course management needed. Rural area so saw lots of wild life. Well worth a visit.
