Good local course

I like the course as it doesn’t have an active membership due to ongoing off course development so can book last minute and get around quick. Greens are well maintained and the course overall is well looked after

My only criticism is the price as £25-£30 a round is excessive and should be reviewed, which would only lead to more people getting to play it.

Disappointing

I used to really enjoy playing here although it has been a while, and I am very disappointed in the neglect that has become apparent. There was litter and dog droppings on almost every whole and some of the greens were very beat up.

Poor bunkers along with poor club house

Turned up an hour early to go on the range , range balls from

The 1950s so asked if we could tee off earlier as nobody was due on the course for the 70 minutes before our tee time, lady in the shop huffed about it and said okay eventually. No clubhouse facilities, course greens are okay but bunkers are full of bricks, literally chopped up house bricks, not worth £25 per person

Lovely course and great VFM

Club house looked like it could do with some TLC and the carpark was just about empty. First impressions weren’t good!

But this is a lovely course - well maintained and with a challenging & interesting layout.

Thoroughly enjoyed my round and will definitely be paying a return visit this summer.

Quiet course, good when looked after

Green fees need to be made cheaper! Very basic, all the balls on driving range are shocking not worth going on range, fairways are good when they have been cut!, greens are slow but playable, shocking bunkers mainly rocks

Great Value Course, poor signage

Really enjoyed my round here, it’s very good for the price you pay. Only complaint would be the layout isn’t the most simple, signage is lacking and no maps provided on the scorecard. Led to some holes being missed and having to go back.

Save your money, don’t bother

Course is stuck in limbo of charging £25 a round so no one plays it (I paid £15 on hot deal). With no one playing it, they’re clearly not making any money to reinvest into basic course attributes such as tee numbers, hole maps, clear walkways etc. No fringes, just ‘fairways’ and rough. Greens were surprisingly ok when considering the rest of it! In the state it’s in, anything over £10 is questionable.
