Lots of potential.. If they could be bothered
A nice course with some interesting holes but extremely disappointed by the greens, a strong contender for the slowest I’ve ever putted on. The fairways were like being in the rough at times. The minimum you expect when paying £25 for a round of golf is well cut grass which this wasn’t at all unfortunately
Overpriced
Overpriced Green fees shiukd becreduced to encourage more players and the course is under maintained. The fairways need cutting and the bunkers were unplayable due to lack of maintenance. The greens are just recovering after hollow tinning.
Course needs signs
Course was in good condition after heavy rain night before . No club house all shut ,I think course is due big change building ?Otherwise staff were good at reception for booking in nice and friendly.
Centurion park
Charging £25 per person even for juniors. Managed a deal on golf now for £15. Always liked this course but always felt that they overcharged, it’s a decent course if the price was brought down a bit. Fairways were good although if you went off still a lot of leaves so impossible to find your ball. Bunkers need some sand in them impossible to play. Greens good but had recently been spiked so not perfect.
Enjoyable course
Good course, enjoyed it, good value, friendly staff.
Facilities could do with some work but that doesn’t affect the golf does it!
If in the area would visit again.
Absolute Rip Off
We played Centurion as a last minute option. When you look where you can also play for £30, I don’t know why they think it’s worth that. There is no on-site club shop, and a map of the course wouldn’t go a miss. If you aren’t on the fairway you aren’t finding your ball due to the surrounding grass and rough being out of control.
Should be cheaper to play
So ive played here a few times in the past month and it's not worth £20 weekdays & £25 on weekends greens are in bad shape I know it's early in the season but other cheaper courses are in better shape I'd play here more if its was 10 pound a round but for the price they want il not be back
Disappointing
More expensive than surrounding courses and no where near their standard.
No tee numbers, direction to Tee signs broken so confusing as where to go, bunkers in a terrible mess, nearly unplayable..
Overall very disappointing.
Winter to be fair
Because we got there 8.40 pro shop shut so no cards available they need to be
Layout was made harder as no numbers on tees and no information when you found the tee ended up missing a hole
Second Time Playing
This is my second time playing here and it has been a complete different experience to the first. Course hasn't held up well at all as you can see tyre marks on many of the holes, you can understand the greenkeepers are trying to improve the course but I wouldn't be paying £17 (hot deal too) again to play on it in it's current state. Greenkeepers were out and about as well cutting grass etc. while people were playing, didn't like this at all as I felt rushed to get passed them and this was on about 3 or 4 of the holes. Most of the holes were claggy and hard to play on but in fairness were still playable and ok for new players like myself to learn on. Will be a great course once there's been more investment!
A generous 3 out of 5 from me but wouldn't recommend in it's current state.

The “fairway” grass longer than most places rough
I’ve played wallsend a lot over the past few months and yeah not the greatest course but always pretty decent, but we couldn’t believe the length of the fairway grass, longer than most places rough grass, clearly not care taken in the course and to happily take peoples money is shocking!
Days Are Numbered
I'm told this place is in for a major redevelopment which it sorely needs. Staff clueless as to when that will be. As a consequence place is run down, no facilities, members have left, not being maintained. For now still OK to play but would expect it to go downhill over the winter.
