Enjoyed my round was a bit rusty having not played or practiced for a long time but enjoyed it

After driving past this golf course numerous times I've eventually decided to give it a go!! First game this year after the covid restrictions have been lifted.. pleasantly surprised at the course condition even in these weird times..cracking little course. Not to difficult. A few tricky blind holes but easy on the eye. Friendly staff. Could do with a few more seats about. Especially while waiting on slow players apart from that its spot on.. top marks to the green keepers and staff.. Will be back

First round back after lockdown!

For the money a great course which is well looked after. Testing layout but for the money it can't be beat. Already looking to get back again for another round. Other courses charging more and this is far superior to some of them!

Played this course for the first time. 2 weeks of incessant rain have not helped the course at all. It’s pretty muddy but they’ve still got the majority of normal greens in play.

Quite hilly as you may expect for the area. Was certainly a good work out.

The course was very busy and the weather poor so it was pretty slow but not terrible.

The holes were all challenging and pretty varied.

I can’t wait to come back and try again in the summer.

The course was very attractive. Lots of beautiful autumnal trees and wonderful views.

There was a very strong wind when we played, but this did not spoil our round. Was so windy we almost had the course to ourselves.!

We will visit it again.

The course was in fantastic condition. Really enjoyed the course some real thinking holes. A few hills to negotiate but a real pleasure for all 18 holes.

I played on a Saturday afternoon and the course was quiet enough for me to keep pace most of the way after joining up with another golfer. It is picturesque and way better than expected for the hot deal price of £12. The greens were in outstanding condition and no winter greens were being used (late October)

Would recommend and will be playing again with my new friend Paul :)

what a little Gem of a course this is!

I played a round with a lovely little gentleman called John who is a member here. I wasn't having the best round until joined him on the 7th, things improved from then on. The fairways are excellent and the greens are immaculate. I will most definitely be paying another visit in the near future.

A perfect example of not listening to others and trying things for yourself. Apart from one, still playable, green with a puddle in and around the hole (we played on a day when it poured down with rain the entire round) the course was fantastic. The 1 star points for staff and amenities are only because we didn't see any staff or use the facilities so can't rightfully comment on them. Overall, a beautiful, well manicured course, great for all skill levels.

Only fair to write another review after being really disappointed with greens several weeks ago!

Greens are now in much better condition and really enjoyed my round yesterday with our golf society.

Course was in great nick and greens are now pretty true and reasonable speed.

One of the best courses I’ve played. Some great holes and everyone was friendly and welcoming.

Friendly good club shop. Great tee and fairways very disappointing greens more sand left on them the beach unable putt spoiled the round but didn't spoil the day I would play again as the course is very good.

My friend and I booked a round of golf here first time playing this course really looking forward to it tee up great fairways got to the first green fond a sand pit for a green needed a SW to get to pin and unfortunately every green was the same very disappointed would I play there again yes if a knew the greens are playable

Garesfield is a cracking course but unfortunately they have had problems with their greens and when we played they had been verti cut recently. The sand and mud left on greens was shocking. To compound the problem the grass has not been cut for some time and they were almost unplayable in the wet conditions we had. Annoyed there was no mention of situation on website. Wished we had played somewhere else tbh
