Great weather,great course,good playing partners,(part of a 4 ball from golfnow)
Course was in amazing condition,greens played true and with 20 degree weather what more can you ask for
Excellent course
Played this course with a friend. Excellent friendly staff. Course was in lovely condition and very fun to play. You won’t get on a better course for ten pounds.
Surprisingly good
The course was in great condition with a really interesting mix of holes. The greens were in good condition, some were quite small and raised placing an emphasis on approach shots. The pace of play was maintained by slower groups allowing you to play through (Thank you). The pro shop was well stocked and off course facilities excellent. Added to a cheap green fee I would definitely recommend Hobson GC.
Hobson’s Choice - a Great One
Very impressed with whole aspect of this course . I had once visited previously but retired injured after a few holes. Today was totally different , no injuries , great weather course in super condition , greens perfect. As a 4 ball we all thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Very impressed with the pro shop with Shaun & David doing a great job. We didn’t need to buy food but tea & coffee was perfect . Very welcoming club steward .
We will be back for sure . Thank you Hobson GC . What a great choice .

love playing here as its a great course for beginners as its quite open and a challenge. Staff in club shop and bar are so welcoming so i would recommend anyone playing here

A few years since i played this course, but seen quite a few improvements
Nice and friendly course
Not the first time playing here but everyone is always so friendly around this course. Front 9 are a bit of a baptism of fire, then the course eases on the back 9
Great condition
Course was still in lovely condition even after all the rain we have had . Few intimidating tee boxes & long par fours as I am not a big hitter but loved it. Played with a relative who was up from down south & he also was very impressed & has asked me to book it for next time he is up.
Great course
Lovely course not too challenging, shame it poured down most of the way round but will definitely be back on a better day! Love the idea of coloured flags to define pin position on the green. Fair price for a fantastic course.
Another enjoyable round
Played here a few times now and it’s a lovely course.
Usually in great condition but the last few times it seems like nobody rakes the bunkers, and I mean nobody! One was like a child’s play pit!
Is it coronavirus that means takes aren’t available?
My own course supplies mini rakes that you must carry and use!
Otherwise a nice round and will look forward to playing again when an opportunity arises
Best course I've ever played
This course is the best course I have ever played, so much so I've booked again to play 2 days later (tomorrow) the staff are very helpful and will point you in the right direction along with the club members. The pro shop is very well equipped with plenty on offer.
The course itself is very well looked after and a credit to the management and green keepers, some very long par 3s and 4s (well to me anyway) good management of the pin positions to with 3 different coloured flags representing if the pin is front middle or back of the green. Due to Covid as per all courses there is no rakes in the bunkers but they are still in good condition (I think I tried most of them out) and the holes are filled with a steel cup so no lifting of the flag needed, just pick your ball out. The fairways are fantastic and the ruff well you can still find your ball.
The 19th is very nice, great service and nice selection of drinks to quench that thirst you built up.
Can't wait until tomorrow to play it again, looking to smash my score from yesterday.

Played today and found the course in great condition, the greens were tip top and fast, shows my old club up somewhat
