Played a 4 ball first time here, staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, made us all feel welcome. It was a lovely day, the course was in very good condition and the greens ran true. There was no pressure from anyone behind us and the day went perfect. Will definitely play here again.

Played for the 1st time today, lovely conditions, very easy on the legs, would recommend, good value for money.

The course should have not been on water all over the course very very wet

The damage they do to course will take a lot of time to repair two fairways and two green closed off

If u need any help of the manager about any issues which I did have u will be wasting your breath

Firstly the course was wet and boggy in various positions around greens and tee boxes ,which is what to expect with the current rainfall we've had lately....the course layout was very nice and greens were very good and interesting....some of the fairways were marked to not play from and had to pick your ball up and place in the light rough as to protect the fairways....which was annoying but understandable....I would like to play it in the summer as I think it's a very nice and great value for money.£17. I've played many courses for a good £10 more in bad condition....so for me I'd recommend it ,

I feel bad writing this but this course just felt kind of bland. It was in good condition and the greens were excellent but having recently played Whitburn and Barnard Castle I think I've been a little spoiled. It just didn't have the wow factor and felt like a bit of a slog. Considering the time of year the course was in excellent condition and the greens were superb. Very friendly pro in the shop and everyone we saw was very welcoming.

The course is ideal for a for a beginner or if you are taking the game up again, the layout of the course is superb and the greens are in an exceptional condition. By far the nicest course in the area

Cold because it was cold. Wet because it’s been raining. Dry patches to be found easily for drops. Greens in great condition.

Good condition and good level of difficulty. High wind made it hard.

Course was in amazing condition,greens played true and with 20 degree weather what more can you ask for

Played this course with a friend. Excellent friendly staff. Course was in lovely condition and very fun to play. You won’t get on a better course for ten pounds.

The course was in great condition with a really interesting mix of holes. The greens were in good condition, some were quite small and raised placing an emphasis on approach shots. The pace of play was maintained by slower groups allowing you to play through (Thank you). The pro shop was well stocked and off course facilities excellent. Added to a cheap green fee I would definitely recommend Hobson GC.
