Ravensworth Golf Club

Winter greens are an absolute joke seen better at local park. Very poor signage and extremely wet under foot. Clubhouse and car park very nice. Wouldn't play here again unless after a long spell of dry weather

Lovely course with friendly staff and understanding members.

Although this course is quite flat it has its share of challenging holes, i loved the idea how you walk through country footpaths to go to the next hole its as if its 3 courses in one highly recommended

The course is well kept. greens 1st class fast only found a couple of pitch marks on the hole of my round members take care of greens its hard to score well the 1st time only as there are a few blind shots so next time will be fine long par 3s best views ever.food good fantastic value.

Short but challenging for all levels of golfer. Several blind shots, a number of tight fairways and most greens extremely subtle borrows. Relatively straightforward to make greens in regulation but not easy to hole out!

I have played this course twice in the last few weeks and I have really enjoyed it. I found it a little hilly the first time I played and a little hard to negotiate. However the course and the greens are very well kept and I would recommend that you give it a try.

Played Ravensworth this morning. Sadly it poured down for the first few holes but that didn't put me off. Definately a course you need to either go round with a member for the first round for some advice, or think about your game very carefully. I don't tend to think until After I have got the ball so I was lucky and was joined by a member I met on the putting green. Can't wait to go back, don't be fooled by the seemingly short course. It will bite you if your not careful. A hidden gem I'm pleased I've found.

Great course very friendly members of staff greens in first class condition met some lovely members of the golf club and would definitely recommend a Visit .

Fantastic course in very good condition a pleasure to play will not be my last visit staff veey friendly and helpful nothing a bother newton in the shop a gentleman and very helpful would definitely recommend this golf club

Place of play a bit slow as I was behind a couple of 4 balls. Course in good condition but the greens could be faster. Interesting layout with a good variety of short and long par 4's. Will play again in the summer.

Had a great day out at Ravensworth. Weather previously had been bad so was expected that temp greens etc may be in use. Only issue we found were that the greens could have done with rolling due to amount of rain previously (not controllable by the golf club). look forward to coming back and play again in the summer.

First time playing this course so my review is purely based on this visit and are my own personal opinions based on this.

There was loads of waterlogging and fresh sandfilled drainage across some fairways.

Winter tee boxes not tee peg friendly.

Some picturesque and challenging holes on this course but I felt the layout is a bit disjointed for my liking!

I probably wouldn't play this course in winter time again but may try it out in the summertime!

Great course to play some challenging holes. But value for the money.

Good course in perfect condition for so late in the season. Plenty of varieid fairways many slopes and hills. Greens were sanded when I played which added to the putting experience. My playing partner is new to golf and found some of the tee to fairway drives quite long. Red tees could be better positioned. If you are a good driver of the ball you will enjoy this course and the challenge of the slopping fairways.

First time i have played this course and it wont be the last, the chap in the shop was very cheerful and informative.The course itself was beautifully cared for and had some breathtaking views.The clubhouse was pleasant and the menu looked good although we just had a drink. Would definitely recommend.
