Well worth a visit

Whilst the course is not a long one, it has some very interesting holes and is well worth a visit.

Not too daunting for a high handicapper.

The course was very wet, interesting but a bit hilly.

The lady in the pro shop was ever so helpful and explaining the course situation.

The course was extremely wet and the greens were exceptionally spongy and bobbly from players footprints. Drainage works were ongoing on the course which can only be good news for the future. The holes were all interesting with some tough par 4s. The course was quite hilly, Not sure whether We would go back and play it in the dry but we did at least enjoy the experience of playing a different course.

Last minute booking

I found the course in poor condition, very wet and muddy. And the drainage work being done did not help.

Some of the greens where very spongy and the need to cross fairways to get to next tee box not good would not like to play course when very busy

Superb

We were met while booking our two ball in by a very helpful gentleman in the club shop who went out of his was to explain the course layout and was extremely accommodating in general. The course itself was in fantastic condition given the time of year and was clearly well kept and credit must be given to the greens keepers for this. All in all a very good experience and I will certainly be going back.

A little disappointing.

I hadn't played here for about 10 years and was a little disappointed. My brother and I, started the round at about 4pm. Because I hadn't played there for such a long time, my course knowledge was nonexistent.

Almost every hole and shot was a blind shot. From memory, the following flags weren't visible from the teebox: 1,2,4,6,8,9,13 ,14,16,17. I understand the layout is on several hills but every hole was daunting.

Another off putting feature was a lack of yardage signs. These are essential, if all you have is a vague direction of flag location.

The course was well maintained but I wont be playing again due to the lack of yardage signs. The amount of blind shots was also excessive.

Fantastic course!

First time playing this course and was absolutely blown away by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. I didn't catch the gentleman's name however he was extremely accommodating when it came to our tee time and gave us a 10 minute talk-through of the course to ensure we had a great round. Will definitely be going back!
