Ryton Golf Club

Not the longest course but massive live for this place. Very picturesque clubhouse, great food, stunning course especially for the time of year. Highly recommended!!

Nice setting, modern clubhouse. When I played I got stuck behind a society outing who would not wave anyone through, and boy were they slow.

The course layout is dangerous, there are at least 2 holes where you could easily be hit by someone driving off. For the experienced golfer this shouldn't be a problem, but......

Other than that the place has a good feel to it.

The course is quite challenging, with the river on one side and railway line on the other. There are some holes the will test playets of all abilities. The course does get a bit tight round 15 / 16, and to ease congestion 16 would be better played as a long par 3. Overall well worth a visit.

Excellent course we'll laid out.greens were in fantastic condition.plenty of parking.friendly bar staff.good shop.will definitely play again.the only slight negative was lack of a map of the holes on t box and scorecards.

The course was in excellent condition and played really well. Some real changes since the last time I played there and all have been really well done and are positive improvements to the course. The staff are as friendly as ever and you would have to go a long way to beat the food served and the value.

Only played here as it was cheap on a hot deal, what a surprise it was. Greens were excellent as was the rest of the course. Staff and members were friendly, will definitely play again even if it's £20/30

Greens were in very good condition.Good course for my wife who is a beginner,not recommended for better players.

Course in great condition,weather perfect and no one in front or behind us,excellent.

Played this course at the start of the season...greens were excellent...staff were very friendly....11 golfers with wide range of handicaps..every one enjoyed and had a good day..Would definatly play again..

For £8 a round you really couldn't complain anyway, but it is even better when the course is well maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. will definitely be returning again.

The course was a mess today and although i accept winter tees and winter rules must be in force there was far too much of the course inaccesible and it took alot of the enjoyment out of what could be a very enjoayble round of golf.

I initially played this course a few weeks earlier with the golf society I'm with. Couldn't wait to get back and have another game. Don't be fooled by the yardage of the course, there are plenty of things to keep you occupied. Will be joining next season for sure. Stunning clubhouse, excellent condition of the course, it could have been the beginning of the season, huge well done to the green keeper and his staff. Really love this place, and reasonably level for those who don't like mountaineering with a full bag of clubs!
