Waterlogged and makeshift greens
Pins on fairways not on the greens
Waste of time and money
Great course, bit out the way
We played a four ball today and upon arrival there was no staff at the reception, we couldn't confirm we had attended and just helped ourself to score cards and headed for the first tee box. Course looked really well maintained, unfortunately the white coloured leaves are falling from the tree making it extremely hard to find white golfballs. Advise anyone to use coloured balls! Greens were in great condition, but again had leaves all over. Course overall is fantastic and would definitely recommend to a friend and will play again! Nice and flat, some challenging holes but great overall
Fantastic course!
The course itself is brilliant, some challenging holes. Greens are immaculate. Course is positioned Right on the river tyne. Excellent value for money at £15 especially for a Sunday.
Great little course
Great little course tight In places -fairways good -Greens excellent
Played on windy day which made it challenging but group enjoyed there day out would definitely return again
Day by the river

Ryton golf course
Excellent course and in great condition would definitely recommend this place to play
Great value
Lovely views, good condition. Some holes are scorable, others are really hard. Good course at a great price.
Well worth a round
Down to Covid all parts of the golf club was closed to the public put the course was in excellent condition fast the greens in top condition and well mentained I scored 1 under for my round loved it can't wait to get back 10-10
good day overall
Very disappointed the bar was closed, informed it opened at 6pm !!!!, missing an opportunityi think !
Good little course
Excellent greens. Bunkers still not in play. Well worth a visit to this tight layout.
Cracking course
myself and my son played today, we both really enjoyed the round, course was superb, greens excellent, so.e very interesting holes.
We'll definitely be back to play this superb course..
Tight course
Well maintained course. Bunkers not in play because of COVID. A number of bridle paths run through the course and it has the river on one side and the Newcastle to Carlisle railway on the other.
Game spoilt by a two ball that had us waiting for every shot. Just unfortunate for us.
The layout means that on some holes teeing off can be delayed to allow others to play.
Overall a tidy course that is worth visiting.
Lovely round at Ryton GC
Beautiful course. Immaculate greens. Mature woodlands. Well kept tee boxes. Nice length for amateur golf. Bunkers could be sandier/better kept (but understandable in face to COVID restrictions)
