Imaculate greens
Ryton is a very good course,not too difficult but still can catch you out if you wander from the fairways towards the trees,a great test for any golfer,im thinking of joining soon
Great shape, quite congested
The individual holes are beautiful and the course is in great shape, however there’s several holes where you tee off over a green and a couple spots where 3 holes seem to be hitting into/over/through each other. Just a little crowded in spots. Other than that, lovely track and friendly staff.

VERY NICE COURSE.GREENS SPOT ON. GOOD CONDITION S.CANNY CLUBHOUSE LIKED THE BALCONY VIEW S . STAFF POLITE AND FRIENDLY. WE ENJOYED OUR DAY WILL PLAY AGAIN NEXT WEEK
Slow
Stuck behind a few four balls. Took 2.5 hours for 8 holes, walked off after 8.
No member off staff anywhere in sight to show me the way to first tee, had to ask members.
Great golf course would play again with great views course is well keeped some long hole and some hard hole bar staff are very welcome and friendly
Not long but not easy
An excellent little course tucked away on the bank of the Tyne…. With a drivable par 4 1st and 3rd you may be tricked into thinking this is an easy course, big tougher times await. Keep it straight to get a low score around here, greens we’re excellent too
Review
Good course, greens in some areas required some attention but this only being picky. Challenging course especially if they is wind but really enjoyed the set up. Each shot requires thought to it would say its difficult for begginers
Very slow at Ryton
Picturesque Tyne Valley location and general facilities are very good + the course was in good condition and should have been a pleasure to play. However, our group and the group behind us were stood waiting on every hole for an extremely slow 3 ball that took over 4 hours to complete the course and spoiled our round [it should take no more than circa 3 hours for a round at Ryton]. The club needs to consider putting a marshal out on the course every now and again to ensure that this sort of thing doesn’t happen. Rating would have been 5 stars if the pace of play had been more realistic.
