Esplanade at Azario Lakewood Ranch

Enjoyed the layout of the course. Wide open for some errant shots. Bunkers were nice with sand vs dirtike other surrounding courses. Greens were fast and difficult to stop on some holes. Staff was nice. Would play again for sure. Golf pass had great deals here.

Staff was super friendly a the course was well taken care of. Had an awesome time.

Housing developers remain stubborn when it comes to golf, failing to realize just how much more desirable (and therefore marketable) a cohesive routing can make a golf course, even if it comes at the cost of a handful of “golf-front” lots. Azario Lakewood Ranch is of this kind, although the individual hole corridors are at least wide enough to play golf mostly unencumbered by out-of-bounds.

Luckily, architect Chris Wilczynski is practiced at building high-quality golf holes in otherwise compromised routing situations – a testament to both talent and resourcefulness. Esplanade at Azario is very good fun to play for all levels of golfer because rather than obnoxious bunkering, Wilczynski powered the design with brouad fairways and thoughtful and varied green complexes that are almost open in front. Visitors will enjoy this course until its membership fills up, at which point it will be a long-term happy-place for members.

Course layout is great! You can’t always pound driver and need to be strategic in the shot you hit off the tee to set up your second shot. Lots of water which is beautiful scenery.

I did not like the length between holes. This course is not walkable. You will play three holes next to each other and then have to drive a quarter mile to the next.

Driving range is into water so really designed just to get you loose and hit the course. Putting green and chipping area are all you need for a warmup.

Overall a great course and one I’d for sure play again!

Great course Beautiful conditions. Great tee box setup for all skill levels. Will be looking for a deal on golf now every time we’re in the area.

Nice course. Should be in your top 3 rotation. Fun layout that will hold your interest.

From the moment you arrive, you are treated as a valued member. Bag drop staff were available to unload and lod your clubs. The fairways were generous and pristine. The enormous greens were undulating but rolled very well. This course will not disappoint!

Fantastic experience, excellent conditions different Florida golf experience than the usual Florida style golf course.

Fairways are super forgiving, but the test is around the greens.

Course conditions are always fantastic. Staff is friendly. Pretty decent pricing for the area. Will probably go the way of most other courses in the area…..private before too long. Pace of play has always been good; cart girls are good; only complaint is that you just paid $100~ to play the course and you can’t go grab a bite to eat or a drink at the bar unless you’re a member? Total bullshtein. Come on Azario change this rule. Ridiculous.

Good layout and challenging course especially as windy all the time. Greens are very undulating and they had some pins on slopes which would draw complaints. No rough at all. Some holes you need to gear back especially if down wind to avoid water, and some shorter par 4s you should play for position with a hybrid off the tee. Not a big fan of hitting balls on the driving range into the pond. A lot of new house build will occur so this course will look much different over time.

This was my first time. I loved this course. Staff was excellent. Conditions were great. I didn’t love the greens. They were in perfect shape. I would like less undulations. Many situations where two putting was a challenge and chipping onto the greens were difficult to get close. With that said, I strongly recommend.

Very nice course, great staff, not overcrowded like some courses. A bit pricy but can get great last minute discount on certain golf apps and if you are flexible.

Definitly worth it!
