Always Reliable
If you haven't played Esplanade at Azario you should get there before you're shut out before it goes private. The practice area- range, putting green, chipping areas, are as good as any in the Sarasota-Bradenton area. The layout is typical residential/golf course plan, lots of driving from green to tee in order to squeeze as many homes in as possible. But the holes themselves are fun- a good mixture of short and long par 4's, fun par 5's and par 3's with challenging greens that penalize you if you're in the wrong place. The course is in terrific shape now, albeit with a few damp and muddy spots due to rain and/or irrigation. Pace of play was good- a little over 4 hours.

Very classy place
Great course and I'm fussy. Very pretty and well maintained. Extremely wide fairways with all the trouble being on and around the greens. Greens are fast and undulated. I would definitely play it again.

Top Notch Course & Staff
This is one of if not the best (currently) public course in the Sarasota area. Great course and conditions are typically very good with an exceptionally helpful staff. The course tends to hold water which creates cart path only after rains. Highly recommend playing this course before the community sells out and it becomes private only.

Like the course, condition and layout. Cart path only when I played was disappointing
Lot of walking on a hot day and need to carry multiple clubs to your ball. Probably would have canceled had I known.
