Dubsdread Golf Course
       About
Dubsdread Golf Course is a popular choice for beginning and intermediate golfers. Designed in 1923, it is the oldest public course in the Orlando area. The course is tight with a short, traditional layout that features "postage stamp" style greens that are heavily bunkered. There are also elevated greens that are slightly sloped. Dubsdread Golf Course's fairways are narrow and there are also water hazards that come into play on some holes. One particularly difficult water hazard comes into play on the 12th hole, which is a par 3 that requires a tee shot to a green that is well protected by bunkers.

Entitled kids
Followed three kids on one golf cart with two golf bags. They would sit in the middle of the fairway and talk for about five minutes and then they would run all over the place. When they got to the green, they would throw their clubs around. When I approach them about golf etiquette, they got mad. I spoke to the clubhouse about it and they said they knew about the three kids on one golf cart. They were nice enough to give me a rain check for nine holes. And then on the back nine the same three kids proceeded to pass us while the course was full.
Short yet tight!
The course was very nice and challenging, the only downside was that some of the par 4s were a bit lengthy, so next time I play I’ll surely move to a closer set of tees on those holes!!
Fun and challenging
The course was really fun. In good shape overall. There was some spots where aeriation was noticeable but it did not affect play. Hole 10 was a little rough because of the construction on the range, but still playable. We can't wait to play Dubsdread again!
Fantastic experience
1st time playing a full 18 by myself and it was fantastic. Guy in the front desk seemed annoyed that I came in on a hot deal but whatever. The rest of the staff was great with guidance and noob advice. The ranger was so nice and helped out so much with the pace of play and explaining things to me. Had some construction during the playtime but it wasn’t a bother, and there was workarounds. Big plus for the 2 bathrooms stops, very considerate course. Cart with the iPad guiding me with the numbers and directions was amazing too. Course was recently aerated but it wasn’t a bother in my opinion.
Gem
Dubs has it figured out. If yall can find better greens in the Orlando area please let me know. For how much traffic this place gets I thrilled with the course conditions. Greens rolled quick and true, even through rain and wet conditions. And, it’s priced fairly which is hard to find in CFL. Fill your divots, repair ball marks, please help keep this place the gem that it is.

Helpful and friendly Staff. Course in great condition. I would recommend it!
Beautiful course
The course was great greens were very nice. Course is narrow in a lot of places but it’s fun. I was able to find my ball in people years a few times so that was nice. Only pulled out my diver twice but that’s because I would have lost a lot more balls in people yards if I would have.
